This channel is EXACTLY what I've been looking for. I have gotten to the point in my sewing where I want to add fabric embellishments to my items, but I had no idea what to call these techniques or where to find them. Your channel is an encyclopedia of fabric manipulation techniques. As another commenter said, you are a treasure! Thank you so much for this. I can't wait to dive into all of it.

Thanks so much, Sally! I particularly like the zig-zag "pattern." I appreciate your Imperial/Metric measuring! I do the same thing. I more or less naturally think in the Imperial system (or "Standard" as we say in the States), but then for precision or ease of calculation, I switch to metric! In the ceramics studio, the metric system is so well suited for calculating the shrinkage of pots and the like. Keep up the good work. I'm glad Layla gets the final "word"--meow? I look forward to more vids, and congratulations on nearing the 10K subscriber mark! ~Mike on the Left Coast of the North America
