Being financially independent is known to improve self-esteem and boost confidence. It's important for every women to feel financially secure.
When it comes to a marriage, partners need to treat each other as equals. If you are financially independent, your partner is likely to see you as an equal partner. Moreover, if you make your own money you can choose to make your decisions without depending upon your partner or anyone else. When a woman is financially independent she becomes strong, confident, and sure of herself and she can achieve a lot of things in life.

And I think every 18+ years old girl can easily understand and feel this .aur humare career ki chinta hume hi karni padati hai.so be independent!!

My mom was teacher before she got married but she left her job because city was different...and after 16yrs of marriage she started teaching again as coaching tutor now she's earing 15000 per month and the confidence which she laked in these 16yrs is now getting revived she's getting bold by her decisions . I and my dad we both are really proud of her❤
My mother was also teacher, but after her marriage (26 years ago) , they left their job because my grandfather don't want them to teach. They say that we are earning and that's enough for us😔😑 . So they have to left their teaching. But my mum, see the same dream of becoming teacher in me. They want me to become a govt. Lecturer. And I'm pursuing their dream to the fullest potential 🙂😊😊

I have three brothers and i am the only sister of three brothers. I am 19 year's old and i want to be a IAS officer. Now I am in the 1st year of graduation but Mera parent mara liya samaj ka jasa hi hai .woo mujhe samjhta hi nahi or 2 saal ka mein meri sadi karna ka liya khata hai.wo sochta hai ki bina saadi kiya samaj ma koi ladki safe hi nahi rah sakti.islya wo mari sadi karwa denga.par mai nahi karna chati or roj ishi cheej sa ladhti hoo apni figth mai too bilkul akali hii hoo. But still I am facing this thing .becase I think that I can achieve anything I want.

Being a housewife is the toughest job. This is the only reason which kept me motivated during my entire journey of building my career. This thought was always there on the back of my mind ki ek working women hona is easy than being just a housewife. No salary, no respect, no recognition. Only expectations. I have seen my mom suffering brutally, so really don't want a life like that for me.
Same with my mom. I also don't want to wash the so called dishes in a kitchen in future. Thats why I'm focussing only on my career....😇😇😊

I am from such family where you can not live independently. Do not go out alone, even do not make friends , do not talk to anyone especially with the boys whether it is related to the study, when you were to late, then where you were , i will break your leg, even I can not have a little fun with friends, but it does not say papa and Mummy, always say brother. I have always seen that brother is helpful , supportive but it is different in me .
That's why I wants to be successful and my mom and dad is always supportive , they always motivated me , aur bas mummy papa ko achchi life de saku isiliye mujhe successful hona hai 😊 and I'll do it definitely.

Yes i am to become independent and i have the confidence that I will become oneday i am 12th std now and have planned about my goals and my career i will try my best to work hard and achieve success and make my parents proud and though I am the single child so it was always. I really want to become a financially independent girl...but the problem is I can't manage the time for house works being a girl in rural area & also for the study , hardwork required for completing my dream job/ aim.. that's why I feel very sad about it..Also I belong to a middle class family.. My parents give all possible support to me but I don't know that job will be get or not due to lack of proper guidance, right environment & time...

I am Pooja and I agree with this because these small things matter a lot in a girl's life what will be our life when we are doing housework what will we be known as.. and I feel very lucky my mom and dad don't think about people let me learn so much, they support me now, I am 26 years old. But they say try until you don't need a job. And I also wish to find them a good place in this society that Pooja's parents are.
