Ok so I live in Canada and was trying to get my driving license. I took classes and understood all the rules but during the exam, I got so anxious and failed. It happened twice. This time bychance this video came on my you tube feed and I saw it, then a few more videos from Priyanka Chopra and I really recollected myself. I passed this time. The test is generally 15 min but my examiner took only 10 min because he said you are doing great. The only difference was I was way more confident and her words were echoing in my mind. Also, I would like to add I don't get motivated easily, lol. All I can say is THANK YOU.

I did hospice and home healthcare for many years and what I saw was many, many women who did not get recognition for all of their tireless hard work; they waited their whole lives to spend time with their husband and then had to take care of him again. I’m close approaching 40 & am feeling so lost, recently I had a sibling tell me that I have “always” been a burden with my mental illness. I suffer from schizoaffective disorder, depression & recently diagnosed high functioning ADHD. I can’t help but ask the universe why me? Im not married I have no children and if I’m honest with myself I have nothing to show for my life. I’m broke, constantly feeling sleepy & have no ambition for the future. I am struggling to pick myself up and I live in rural Australia so to speak to a therapist or something is almost impossible. I take care of my elderly narcissistic father who is suffering from dementia & mg older sister who can’t stand looking at “my parasitic face”! To my sister I’m lazy, rude, selfish & entitled user amongst many other horrible things. She refuses to understand my mental illness and says it’s just an excuse. She doesn’t know what if feels like when ur only consistency in life is criticism & hatred. How hard it is to get up everyday and keep going. One of the worst feelings in the world is finding out that all the worst things u feel about urself, tour closest people feel that way about you too 😔😞
Taking care of your dad is no small task, it sounds quite unselfish to me. I am sad knowing that you are dealing with narcisism and feeling invalidated by your sister too. You have so much life left to live and I encourage you to give yourself permission to dream - what if life could be different? What would be the ideal scenario for me in 5 years? 10 years? 20 years? 40 years?
You get to choose and to move towards that.
I'm also in Australia, and if you are remote, telehealth might be the best way to go. You could find a therapist anywhere in Aus that you want to see and ask if they would do a video call or phone call, or you could find someone via a fully online service. I just Googled, check out Remote Therapy Telehealth Psychology - it says it is fully bulk-billed, which is a huge help.

I did hospice and home healthcare for many years and what I saw was many, many women who did not get recognition for all of their tireless hard work; they waited their whole lives to spend time with their husband and then had to take care of him again. Women were part of the change in this country -women were the reason men could go forward.
Women encouraged them every day, kept them fed clothed and feeling good - for the most part; there was a woman in every home, lifting every man keeping him fed, giving him strength and encouragement. Women are also a dominating figure, but rarely get talked about when it comes to the history of a family or legacies…..
