More over, it's been relatively easy to come across (in my daily research findings) examples of failures of this autocratic system (wherein power is consolidated by one person at the top[Putin]).
Thereby, creating a system where people within that system are afraid to speak truth to power - an inability for Russian Henchmen/Oligarchs to communicate to the Person at the top - openly, about the critical (pernicious) issues facing their country economically, militarily and technologically.
ie. An increasingly isolated and unaware Vladimir 'Presitator' Putin.

Because invading a non member state isn't grounds for dismissal. If it were, America would've been kicked out for going into Iraq decades ago and failing to produce the WMDs they said were the primary casus belli.

I agree that an unwarranted invasion of another member state should be grounds for dismissal, meaning that Iraq should have been ejected from the UN when it unilaterally invaded Kuwait, but it wasn't.
The 2003 invasion was not America alone, but a coalition of 40 nations (plus the Kurdish Peshmerga). If all participants had been "kicked out" of the UN, there would not have been a UN left, or at least not enough members to keep the lights on at the UN headquarters.
The 'causus belli' was not so much that Iraq already HAD weapons of mass destruction (of a nuclear dimension), but that it was trying to acquire them. And it was anxious to join the nuclear club. If we had seriously thought that Iraq had a nuclear weapon, for example, the operation never would have been undertaken.
As to other sorts of WMD, namely poison gas, there is no question but that Saddam had used poison gas on some Kurdish villages. If he had additional stores of such material when the planned liberation was being debated, he could have easily shifted them to his Baath Party ally Assad -- the only other actor in modern times known to have gassed his own country's civilians.
Also note that Saddam's repeated violations of the 1991 cease fire terms constituted a separate, fully sufficient basis for his removal as dictator of Iraq.
That said, I was personally opposed to the invasion at the time because of (a) the potential loss of life, (b) the financial cost to the US, (c) the prospect that establishment of a replacement government in a country comprised mainly of three elements (Sunni, Shiite & Kurd) who have always despised each other, and (d) the potential that destabilizing Iraq would shift the regional balance of power in favor of Iran.

I've seen images of the crash. As fatal aircraft crashes go, this was a very "soft" one. There are large pieces. That means that if there were 70-75 people on-board, wouldn't there be bodies scattered all around? Same with S-300 missiles. None of these were visible. It makes me think the plane was empty.
Oh, it wasn't missiles, it was the S-300 control and launcher they got from Egypt. Maybe.

Russia claims to have Ukraine prisoners for exchange in that cargo plane 0:52 because those planes use to ferry ammunition and military equipment. This way they can inflict hessitation among Ukraines military to dare shoot more of them down. Its an ugly and desperate way for Russia to try to get some equipment to the frontline since the trains and vehicles are so devastated.
If the orcs are using POWs to deter Ukraine from shooting at their planes, isn't that a war crime - using people, especially POWs - as human shields? Wonder if Lavrov wants the UN to discuss that.

I've seen a compelling analysis that the shot down plane was not RA-70030 from Denys (the Ukrainian youtuber that's actually a pilot) but that doesn't change the rest of the narrative so Russia is more likely than not just lying once again regarding the cargo...

Great report on the Russian invasion. Russia says there were 80+ people on the IL-76. SOoo accordingly the number of bodies found at the wreckage site according to Russians in Belgorod is 2, TWO.
Hmm. OK, But who shot it down? Ukraine could have. Maybe. Russian anti air assets were active at the time also according to the USAF that was tracking it. The IL 76 had flown from Iran to Belgorod so maybe a shipment of Iranian drones? More Hmm.

Russia released a list of the prisoners that they claim were on the plane that crashed. It's since been discovered that some of the prisoners named were exchanged in an earlier prisoner swap and are already back in Ukraine. So were not on the plane.
