  • Thanks for stoping by, nothing too fancy just getting some more rounds through my new sig, and adding another tool to my tool belt. Also if you wanna see shooting content specifically check out my IG page: astronaut_tactical.

the production from this channel is pretty good for 139 subs. I have a feeling u'll blow up as a guntuber!

Thanks man I honestly don’t care about being a “guntuber” I just put these videos up as sort of a documentary of my training in the gym and on the range.

Brother solid reps. What I taught myself during single round training, after that round is sent down range, don’t fire the 2nd range but practice acquiring the optic rather than just dropping your pistol & holstering. Promise it makes a difference.

Love it. In my experience the thing that helped my shot placement the most was making sure the bottom of the trigger guard sits perfectly in between the knuckles on my middle finger. It should help with “shooting left” and tighten the grouping. Also see if you can get that pointer and middle finger from the support hand to wrap more around your shooting hand it will help with control. That’s all I can think of. it’s obvious you do your homework and want to get better. Love the confidence too.

Yeah it’s just getting used to the gun and that’s going to take some time, but I like the way the Sig feels in my hands so shouldn’t be too difficult thanks for the advice

Dope video. One thing I noticed is that you always drop your head/gun immediately after firing. Do you ever pause to assess the target after? Just something I noticed keep up the great work!

I understand the concept of follow through on your shot, I only have around 55 minutes on this range so I make the most of my time. Practicing follow through is good for law enforcement, I tend to adopt the idea of shot calling, I have confidence in my ability to know exactly where my last shot was on target.

@@Astronaut_E That makes sense, definitely have to make the most of the limited time available. Its nice that you have your own private lane to work on. Your rifle work is rock solid. And pistol will come with time.

Also would like to say those are some great drills. I hopefully will get to try some when I find a range that will allow it.

Instead of dropping your support hand on the draw. Keep it high ready so you can establish your final grip in your work space rather than below your eye line.
Like your channel though man. Subbed 🤙🏼

What’s good man, stumbled across the channel! Not sure if angle but try wrapping your support index around your strong hand instead up tucking it up and under the light. Just my .02, good training tho!!

Love the content, i saw in a couple your other videos were running the same EOTech, just wanted to ask what kind of riser you’re running. I’ve thought a lot about getting a hydra mount so i can compact everything and get an easier sight line when i bring the gun up, but i fear i’m gonna run into the front part of the mount. But i definitely think the riser mount you’re running would be a good compromise. Appreciate you brother, love watching your content.

Hey thanks man so I run an overbore systems kenu riser, it’s essentially just picatinity rail on top of your picatiniy rail it’s better than other platforms in my opinion.
