Graham, I am a practicing Catholic…attended all Catholic schools. My mom is a very devout Catholic whom I aspire to be like. I pray daily. I attend Mass every Sunday! I don’t know what I would do without God in my life! Do I fear Him? Absolutely not! I always try and live my life in a way that would please Him. It’s not always easy…and I’m not perfect by any means. But I try! I don’t fear Him because I know He loves me…faults and all! And He can see that I try to be the best person I can be. Graham - the fear of God is the sacred foundation of my faith. It is the motivation that activates my obedience to trust God with His will for my life. It is to revere, respect and honor God while being in awe of His mighty power. It is what helps me to fully surrender and not ever want to be separated from God. @annewootenmusic i am not that religious but I do believe in god.i believe he help save my life when my Doctir try to kill me in the last six months on this medication he had me on I almost Gave up because the dam doctor did not lesson to me when I new something was wrong I went to I did a little prayer before I went to the emergency that I get help and I did the doctor there fig out .he took me off the medacation that the doctor was giving me to much of it waa burning up my system I lost 65 pounds and hair the emergency doctor said if I would had waited another week or two I be dead. They took me off cold turkey. I could not taste food my sliva glans shut down I was one bug mess . Once I get in to another group of Dictors I will be going after this doctor license. So he can.t do this to anyone ealse.god was really looking out for me.
The fear of God? I do not see God as an external force that I must obey or I will be punished. God is the love that resides within me, God is the eagerness I feel to give meaning to my life. God is the feeling that I want to take care of our planet, the others and myself. I'm doing my best and I'm still learning every day. I live with the feeling of being in love with life. This is what God is to me. I look him in the face with a smile, without fear or restraint. In French they say: God is 'Le joie de vivre!' Fearing God for me... one is something difficult to explain but this fear can have two meanings, right, the fear of fear, fear of the final judgment. And the fear of respect, of admiration, of love, of compassion, and especially of faith. I prefer to hold on to the fear of respect. You worry about disappointing them, even though you know they still love you. For me, it’s about realizing that I’ve strayed from the right path at times, and I know I might do so again in the future, despite my best intentions. This fear comes from not fully understanding what God expects of me and worrying that I’m not living up to those expectations. It’s like passing an exam but knowing you could’ve done better-you’re relieved you didn’t fail, but you also feel a bit of guilt for not giving it your all. When I think about meeting God one day, I’m afraid of facing the reality of my actions, the mistakes I’ve made, and the wrongs I might still commit. To answer your question about fearing God: I struggled with this concept for many years. I now understand it to mean having a posture of reverence, awe, and respect toward my loving Father and Creator. He is all-knowing, all-powerful, and present everywhere at all times. I read a few comments below and it prompted me to add something else to consider. In response to the notion of disappointing God, one of my church leaders taught me, since God is all-knowing, it is impossible to disappoint Him. This gave me a profound sense of relief as His child. I can rest in His perfect love for me, knowing that I will make mistakes, and yet nothing can separate from His love. God bless you and the good work you are doing!
Great question at the end of the video, Graham! There are a few verses in Psalms and Proverbs that speak of fearing the Lord. Psalm 111:10 says, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow his instructions have good insight. His praise endures forever.” Proverbs also speaks of fearing God as the beginning of wisdom. Understanding who we are in relation to God is a humbling place to be. He is all-powerful and all-holy. That God’s Son, Jesus, would choose to humble Himself and be killed on a cross by the people He came to save prompts me to love and respect Him, to honor Him above anyone else and to obey what He instructs in the Bible. This is the fear of God and leads to wisdom.

I don't know anything about bitcoin but I do know Jesus and Adam's testimony was amazing. God is not to be feared or to be afraid of. He is a God of love but my concern or fear is that I will disappoint him. Do you remember your own father who loved you so much?. You were not afraid of him but you feared disappointing him. Very much like you and God. One of the things Adam said which I can relate to about fear is getting to heaven and He say "I don't know you". Can you imagine??? There were many chances that my life and the life of my sisters would not come to fruition but God was looking over my dad through lifes hurdles and a flurry of close calls throughout World War II so that we could make it here. I have been tasked by an internal drive to write a book inspired by a true event that I witnessed when I was 4 years old.... yes I was only 4 when tragedy hit my family and for some reason it has stayed with me for over 5 decades now. I am confident it could be a great movie as well since I have been told I have the next Yellowstone except kid friendly.

He has always had my best interest in mind as He moved me forward in life. One of the hardest lessons I had to learn was that I would only move forward when He knew I was ready to do so. My fear of God is not that we will feel his wrath or punishment if we violate his commandments or if we don't live a life consistent with his plan for us. But if we do these things, I fear we will disappoint God. However, upon further contemplation, we still should not fear God or worry, because no matter what we do God will always loves us and forgive us. Great conversation about a difficult topic, our personal plan involving God in our lives including our business plans.
I have never feared God, I just feel enveloped and cocooned by his presence, safe and secure. This I respect and I also feel that there is no end to worry about because it continues forever. How, I don't know, but I feel confident that it will be.

Love this Graham and Adam. Thank you for the honor that you both give God. We have an amazing God who we worship and serve. Being still and waiting on God when we searching guidance, we hear His voice. We do falter as Adam said, but He still has us in His vision and at the right time He calls us back to Him. He's our Shepheard and we are His sheep. Thank you both for an amazing Podcast.

My fear of God is not that we will feel his wrath or punishment if we violate his commandments or if we don't live a life consistent with his plan for us. But if we do these things, I fear we will disappoint God. However, upon further contemplation, we still should not fear God or worry, because no matter what we do God will always loves us and forgive us. Great conversation about a difficult topic, our personal plan involving God in our lives including our business plans.
I have never feared God, I just feel enveloped and cocooned by his presence, safe and secure. This I respect and I also feel that there is no end to worry about because it continues forever. How, I don't know, but I feel confident that it will be.

God is our father. He wants to teach us as a father does. I don´t fear Him at all and love Him with all my heart for helping me to grow and for everything that He gives to me
To have fear of Jesus/God for me is if, you understand who is Jesus you want to do the right thing, always. To leave in His Spirit is a good example of fearing God. If I leave in His Spirit I don’t fear in my daily life 🙏🏽
I do not fear God. My relationship with him is one of praise, love and respect. He is not an angry God, he is loving and patient. He gives me the strength and guidance to choose the right path to take. He has brought me through many storms. I thank him daily for all my blessings.
