Jake, you have the fears many of as artists have. But after 20 years of being an artist in many mediums, I have found now in my 50's that we as artists are more in touch with the fears of what others will think because we have not went deep enough into ourselves to find out what makes us burn on fire both personally and creatively. I love this quote, "Love yourself, whatever makes you different, and use it to make you stand out!" ~Ross Matthews I think there is an inspiring burning within you Jake to show the art world who you really are and do it without fear. I know you can do it because your videos have shown that you are talented and you love to help others find that passion within themselves. You talk a lot in your videos (and I have watched you since you started sharing on YT) about finding yourself as a person...I think you know what the spark is you have but in some ways you don't fan the flame deep down in your heart sometimes. You will have less fears personally and creatively if you try some newly radical things that you have been holding yourself back from trying. :-) Great videos man! (BTW, I say this to you as a working spiritual life coach and fellow artist)
A vision of creation leaps into my head exactly the same way when I hear a certain track.. your channel has inspired us, and we have shared yours with others while on the road, just love your work Jake!
Thank you Jake, this is what I needed to hear. It's the vulnerability and what others may think about me if I were to try a different niche (uploading vlogs) rather if I were to stay in my comfort zone and post piano covers. Time to try something new :)

I love everything about them: the music, the shots, the videos, the storytelling, the wisdom! Bravo! As a new TH-camr, every one of your videos gave me a ton of inspiration. Thank YOU, Jake!
Because of this and two others of your videos (one of them I only just got suggested, seeing you around for the first time) you are inspiring me. Since the start of this week I've just barely been doing things besides school. And now, I'm going to take my first step, and just set an alarm for a short moment before sunrise, so see the sunrise. I dont think ibe really ever seen it. Now you've inspired me to. Thank you
It's very interesting how different people are in their behavior...not only because of how we have been raised, treated at school, DNA characteristics and so on. For me, it is the opposite: I con't care what other people think and love to begin something new. It's more my problem to figure out what I like to be consistent with. I love learning, teaching others, travelling, art, building something from scratch. Therefore, I tried many things, travelled and lived in multiple countries and now figuring out how to combine all of that. And you are definitely an inspiration for so many people of how to do it right...or giving an idea. Not only with what you tell, but also just looking at your videos and analyzing-enjoying them is something that gives us a good hint of where to begin or to continue....well, or just watching them to feel good. Haha. Have a nice day! ♥

I just don't know how you do this but watching your videos makes me feel like every ounce of life is full of poetry. every single time, one minute after starting your video, I press pause and I write, create or paint... and then, blissfully, I watch the end of your poetry in motion. grateful thanks.
I subscribed to you a lil while ago. about a week or 2. Since then your videos whether old or new always pop up in my recommendations. I enjoy every single one of em. You continue to motivate and inspire me to do things i only dream of doing. Keep doing what you do brother. I don't know if you would see this comment. But if you do. Thank You So Much.
My hood! And thank you for finding that "quirky" music for your videos. It's refreshing when you watch a youtube video with different music than everyone else. There are so many songs on these music platforms, but a lot of people use the same ones. Another great video as per usual, my friend.
Love this man, I was just telling my wife that my new years resolution was to start learning to film, been watching a couple of filming videos and this video popped up on my feed! It was the motivation I needed to even start filming a few videos publicly!
Your videos make me think again about what I fear and my dreams. Plus, the comment section bring me more insight about perspective of fear and how to deal with it. Thank you so much!
Getting that shot and the music... absolutely epic! seriously I got chills and a lump in my throat! ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING!! Your content, your message, your honesty, your quality and attention to detail makes you and your channel one of the most exceptional and raw pieces of content out there. Sorry to gush man but that properly moved me! Music is everything😍 keep it up mate! 😎👍👍👍🇬🇧
man you don't have what you did ............ you just motivated me to pass my toughest fear i.e showing work to world .thanks a ton man love your videos
I'm afraid that when I release my product, it's going to show my REAL value. And that that value may be lesser than I thought. I'm afraid that I may realize that I'm not capable to pursue X dream... because I'm too weak. A beautiful shot, you nailed it. One phrase you said has been stuck in my head: "stories are made to be shared" and that we may be able to feel inspired because somebody had overcome their fear and had put trust in themselves just enough in order to throw that thing at the damn public. And it spreads geometrically and exponentially, one person inspires another, it goes on, and hopefully we reach a better state each time. You've just inspired me to write that comment and get my brain working (English is not my native language), because I've been procrastinating and feeling mentally numb since hours. So thank you and hopefully it stays with me longer. You have also reminded me that perhaps it's worth reconsidering writing reviews, because I used to receive signals that the readers dig my stuff. PS you're so handsome!
I'm Brazilian and I'm planning content about the difficulty of starting things, I watched 15 Brazilian videos but none gave me the energy and impact that your video gave me. Thank you, you overcame your fear and it inspired me to overcome mine...
Thank you for making this video! You put my fears into perspective and I'm going to push aside my fear a what others will say about me, my fear of not being good enough. I have a lot to offer and I'm just going to START!
Been in a creative funk for years. This vid got me moving. Great shot with a wonderfully supportive team of friend filmmakers. Thanks, Jake. Keep moving man.
So good! I love your transparency and vulnerability, Jake! As you can see from my channel, I definitely have been afraid of making and posting videos, but, I think what you said in this video is right. That that fear is always there. We just have to keep creating and posting! So again, THANK YOU!
Thank you for this video. ❤️ I think for me, it's because I'm such a huge perfectionist. As an artist, a language lover, and someone who wants to also travel and experience the entire world and make videos, I have so many ideas of how I want things to turn out. So many things I want to do, yet I always freeze. I can see in my mind how I want the finished product to turn out, but I can never seem to get what I create good enough. It's always lacking something and I end up being frustrated. However, something that does help me is to look back at my work, even just by a few months, and see how much I've progressed. It honestly makes me feel a hundred times better. Knowing that yes, I will one day be able to do the things that I've been dreaming of, but I can't forget to enjoy the journey and see how far I've already come. But I can't be afraid to not do them because I haven't yet "perfected" my skills (even though there is no such thing as perfection).
Your comment was spot on: "What will other people think" is exactly the reason why I've never released any of my music before. Until now. Life is too short to worry about what other people think. Be creative and share it with the world...
I have the same van. Love it. I'm not a fearful Millennial in the first place, but having a van/home gave me a boost of extra confidence. Because no matter what happens you always got a rent-free home to fall back on.
The most important thing is to know what you want. And if you don't know what you want, you probably want BIG things and you don't believe you can do it. Make the first step, just a small step towards this dream, it will give you at least joy that you are doing what you love. It's really that easy to start. Don't concentrate on future. Concentrate on NOW. And everything will fall into it's place. All the best!
You’re right about your videos inspiring others to go out and share their work. Seeing you “stoked out of my mind” is motivation enough. Epic dream shot, van views, great music and Commerce City.

Thanks!
Your videos make me think again about what I fear and my dreams. Plus, the comment section bring me more insight about perspective of fear and how to deal with it.
Thank you so much!
Always loving your work Jake!
Likewise!! Thanks so much Teppo!
This video had me smiling in awe from start to end. I love how you can make a whole video on one single brilliant shot. Keep inspiring us! ❤️
I've watched this a thousand times. Thanks for putting yourself in that vulnerable state to inspire someone, same as me.
man you don't have what you did ............ you just motivated me to pass my toughest fear i.e showing work to world .thanks a ton man love your videos
I needed this video right now. Exactly how I feel at the end of today. Thanks brother. I guess I'll try it again soon.
I feel like the scarier it is, the more you really need to do it. Really needed to hear this. I think I've watched this twice now.
Thank you for this, really!
Procrastination kills more dreams than failure ever will.
Send my love. Keep up the good work Jake!
All of your videos are so beautifully photographed and I love all of your music choices for your videos.
So good! I love your transparency and vulnerability, Jake! As you can see from my channel, I definitely have been afraid of making and posting videos, but, I think what you said in this video is right. That that fear is always there. We just have to keep creating and posting! So again, THANK YOU!
That was a great video! and the shot was perfect! Thanks! Salutations from astonishingly sunny, cold & still locked down Ireland! ☘️☮️🤘🏽🤠👍🏽☮️☘️
I have been watching your channel for awhile Jake. I love your content! You have definitely inspired me in my creative journey. Thanks!!
Your videos are just pure bliss
Because no matter what happens you always got a rent-free home to fall back on.
thank you jake!
always wanted to create a privat playlist of inspirational videos. now this video is the first on my list 🙇🏽♂️
That shot is literally my dream shot now! 😅😍 You created something really inspiring right there. Thanks for that and keep up the great work! :)
YES! Love that.
You give the BEST life advice. Thanks for shaving your inspiration and for facing the vulnerability required to make such personal content. 🙏❤️
You’re right about your videos inspiring others to go out and share their work. Seeing you “stoked out of my mind” is motivation enough. Epic dream shot, van views, great music and Commerce City.
dope shot; the helo and cruising across the backdrop of those vessels anchored offshore is sick. Love the story and great assistants!
Love the skating shot! And main message of your video too, on point! Thanks for sharing and inspiring 🙂
