    Another great video, good for beginners, not many know what they are. And as I said in your last video, too many of them think they are traditionals and think they have found them after the first stage.
    Multi's aren't my favourite for sure, there aren't many nearby, but those which are are actually pretty good.
    Also, congrats on 1k subs, that's a lot!

      Cheers mate, and I only hope this video helps the reputation of the multi, and helps newbies understand what they are. Cheers :)

    Hi, I'm a new geo chacher and I love the game the exploring and adventure, I have tried unsussefully to find a multi, on several occasions, but have found many traditional and micros, I am watching videos online to try work out how a multi works,
    Thanks for the video it has been a great help

      Thanks for the message, I can be reached on the GC app (Seemyshell) or any of my socials. Feel free to send me the GC code, and I can hopefully be more of assistance

    Initially Multis were higher than Mysteries in my list, but now they are seriously out numbered by 275. Amazingly however they sit in bronze position, but maybe not for much longer as my events are only 10 behind. Multis can take a good chunk of time, so my method of attack is to visit the waypoint(s) and photograph the information and return home to calculate, but only for areas I know I will return to. I find it so much quicker and easier that way. The waypoint are super quick usually and then once solved the GZ is like a traditional. Occasionally I will do a multi and find the cache straight after. I don't think I have done very many Multis that have more than one waypoint - luck of the draw. They do however offer some really great reading, learning and the bonus of a smiley at the end. By the way, a terrific video, nicely edited and amazing scenery. Great job !!

    Oooh! You had too much fun with the post-process lol! All great stuff.
    I like multi's - right up to the point that a stage is missing 😯 With proper maintenance, and retiring caches when a cacher leaves the game, they can mean a lot of fun for people wihout frustration!

    • @TheAussieGeocacherSeemyshell
      @TheAussieGeocacherSeemyshell  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Very true mate. I think that missing WP's over a missing GZ is more frustrating, as you have nothing from all your work. Good take on it.

    BEDMAS :) Brackets Exponents Division Multiplication Addition Substraction. Can't believe I remembered that. :P
    You could make a math puzzle for a multi where you leave off all the symbols and have to put them in the right place. Oooooh, heeeey...

    want to make a multi cache. We have an idea but do they have to be far apart from each mulit stage?

    • @TheAussieGeocacherSeemyshell
      @TheAussieGeocacherSeemyshell  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is no distance rules between waypoints. So you can have it across the park or even in another state

    • @TheAussieGeocacherSeemyshell
      @TheAussieGeocacherSeemyshell  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The only distance rule, is that the WayPoints are not allowed to be within 161mtr of any other cache.

      @@TheAussieGeocacherSeemyshell I have a geocache in my yard and I was going to archive it and make it the first way point for the mulit cache. Then in the other side of my yard I was going to put the cache container. Can I do that.

    • @TheAussieGeocacherSeemyshell
      @TheAussieGeocacherSeemyshell  3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Oh yes, I will shamefully admit that multi’s are not high on my list. I don’t know why, must multi’s I have found have been great 👍 I’ve grabbed a TB that requested to visit multi’s, so that helped my numbers 🤣 great video SMS, lovely location (rly liked the transitions) 👍

  • @Uncharter123

    In case someone doesn’t get it
    When you find out A,B,CD E.T.C there will be coordinates in the description page.if it has brackets in you must do the equation in it whic equals a number, for example (d-b) would mean the letter d and the letter b minused
    When you get to the coordinates you should find the final cache

  • @JeassS
    @JeassS ปีที่แล้ว

    Is the orange dot the first stage and where can I put and see the Coordinates?

    • @TheAussieGeocacherSeemyshell
      @TheAussieGeocacherSeemyshell  ปีที่แล้ว

      Always read the description, but most times the orange pin is the first stage. Once you found the 2nd stage coords, you can add them as a waypoint in the app

    The FOIL method! I haven't heard that term since algebra class in grade 9. I love a good multi because they usually are creative or take you to great places

    I have never successfully completed a multi. The main stumbling block is once I have the co-ordinates what do I do with them. How do I use the app to direct me to the location?

    • @TheAussieGeocacherSeemyshell
      @TheAussieGeocacherSeemyshell  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Which app do you use? That is a very good question. If you have the offical app, on the cache page at the bottom, it says 'Waypoints' Then you will see a + sign for 'My Waypoints' You will then be able to add the new WP's in to the app, and it will guide you again. Hope this helps. Otherwise, msg me on my Socials (Facebook is good)

    • @paulinerowbury6907

      I use both the official app and now Cachly. Been out with it once.

    • @TheAussieGeocacherSeemyshell
      @TheAussieGeocacherSeemyshell  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you are using cachly, its even easier. 3xdot menu on right top of cache page screen, Add Waypoint, lace the WP cords in and you can navigate to the new WP

    I enjoy a quick and to the point multi. Long drawn out instructions and wordy cache descriptions turn me off and I go find something else. That's also something I keep in mind whenever I hide a multi.
    For me, they rank 4th on my "found its", behind traditionals, puzzles, and adventure labs. Multis come in at a meadly 2.14% of my overall finds.

    • @TheAussieGeocacherSeemyshell
      @TheAussieGeocacherSeemyshell  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's a really good point mate. Most have said they are too complicated or too much work for 1x Smiley.

  • @kittykatch7463
    @kittykatch7463 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    I love multis but they do take time, so most of us have more trad finds. Multis come fourth in my list with 366 finds (3.63%), behind Trads, Mysteries and I have even found more Lab caches !

    • @TheAussieGeocacherSeemyshell
      @TheAussieGeocacherSeemyshell  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      They are down on peoples lists, and I think you are right. Because it takes longer and more effort for one smiley than a Trad.

    Have to admit I am one of those cachers scared of multis (also lazy? Don’t like the extra work, numbers etc) but if they looked like that one I would do more!! I think my number is def low- without looking at my stats, out of 1125 ish it’s prob 6? I’ll have to take a look. Not that many on the map in my area of New Jersey as well.
