What is "inspiring" about the way it looks??? From 2014 to 2023 their designs were appealing and great looking... and now, they look like a five year old (no offence toddlers) designed it's looks. It does not matter how great the tech is or how great is the inside design, but the outside looks like a box, get it in black and then it's a funeral box. What's the point on spending so much money on this brand when I cannot even enjoy looking at my car? You do know that to adjust the valves, for example, they will charge about 4k (some dealers will only do it if they take out the engine) and this needs to be done around 100k miles or 150k. You also may need to replace the timing belt tensioner (another engine removal) at around 150k, or maybe replace one of the Camshafts (another engine removal) and for each time they have to remove the engine you will pay at least 4k at the dealer... Yes, there are some mechanics that are so good that can do it with no engine extraction, but they will spend so much time that it will cost almost the same. The dealer will tell you that the timing belt is for life.... but the timing chain metal inside the car does not care and it's wearing away with each mile. I know, I have had a few Subarus and I'm also a mechanic so I won't fall for what they tell you (advertisements like this one or dealers, etc). Again, why spend so much money to buy Subaru vehicles and the pricey repairs if I will not at least enjoy it's looks? I for one I'm moving away from Subaru. No amount of advertisement or manufacturer brain wash will convince me to buy the new models, nope, not until they make them look awesome again. The 2023 year is the last one with good looks unfortunately. I wonder if Subaru is doing it intentional to go bankrupt. On this video, when he says "inspiring design" you can easily see that he is being paid to put those thoughts into gullible people so they buy it, but nope, it's not inspiring at all. If I wanted a "Pathfinder" or "highlander" or an original RAV4 looking model then I would have gone and bought those... this new model's look is a copy/cat of those other I just mentioned. I'm done with Subaru and the expensive repairs I've been going through, and mine is only 90K miles (the same was with the previous one I had). this is a certified hood classic

I like the new design but the Forester really needs more power.
I am one of the outliers that enjoys Subaru's new facelift. The price is a little high for a 4-cylinder, so I'd go with a Honda Pilot instead.
It needs a more powerful engine option!

Looks worse than the current gen. Thats the trend with everything they make. Only exception would be the BRZ
