The huge infotainment screen, and doing away with knobs. Also the Ford looking front end.
I see only negative changes with the 2025 Forester: Less horse power, less cargo space, sloping roofline, removal of the great practical roof rails (that's a disqualifier for me), less physical buttons in the cabin. Practicality as an outdoor adventure vehicle is the only thing that matters for me, not looks, accents, or other "soccer mom" features. It seems Subaru is losing their way unfortunately. Might as well get a Rav4 or CRV.
Sure about the removal of roof rails?

@@katricekelly1173 I have had no recall notices on my 2024 Forester which I have had since December 2023. My wife has a 2023 Forester she has driven since October of 2022 and no recalls on the 2023 Forester as well. We both enjoy the Forester!!
If you prefer a traditional key start ignition you might like the base model Forester. I don't really care about having a sunroof for a power lift gate either.
not all models give you blindspot monitoring. i just bought one that was not the basic model, forrester. there is no blind spot monitoring

The front of the 2025 looks like a Fordester.
The suv is too big with 2.5 its loud n under power we just need the new 3.0 v6 right now!
