I grew up in Pulchowk Engineering Quarter, Nepal and we had our girls' gang who used to participate in a lot of sports including skating and biking. Although I was not a pro in skating, most of my friends (girls) were pro in skating. Also, guess what? We were already skating back in 1990s but it was more for fun and our love for skating and sports.

The thing in nepal is that it is not easy to buy a skate board in nepal as there is not many place where they sell skateboard second is that skating is next to impossible in the roads cause the roads have many bumps and there are only few skate park in nepal i think less than 10. so Skating in nepal is hard as it is. Skating as a girl is even harder as a girl cause of our religious culture. Hats off to Lora.
