They have a nice stealthy look on the R3, but the problem I ran into is I can't buy replacements for the pucks when they break. You HAVE to buy an entire kit. I've laid mine down 5 times over the years, and each time I've just glued them back together. They do the job well enough, but it's bothersome you can't replace the (sacrificial imo) part that takes the impact.
Doesn't look sturdy enough due to the fact that it is mounted on the crankcase cover. It increases the risk of damaging the crankcase itself. However, it looks good on the R3. But for me, I would go for those cut frame sliders that are mounted on the frame. Thanks for posting this vid. Thumbs up👍
Makes me wonder why I even bought these from the dealer. They didn't tell me what ones they bought I'm assuming they got these.. I didn't know they were plastic until you showed me. Wtf is the point of that and yeah why put it on an important expensive repair spot like a crank case. To be fair any high speed crash your bike is fucked regardless but still

Man thank you so much for the video! The instructions were terrible and I went step by step with you and it turned out great! Thanks again.
Took awhile to figure it out myself and made mistakes while making the video
Thank you so very much for the video! I was intimidated but you made it a piece of cake.
