Woooowww! “Dad” is wild. The judge said that he’s a lawyer too? Not one ounce of his testimony ,or whatever the hell this was, makes any sense. At all. It appears, to me and my life experiences and opinion, that Dad has been shoving his face into the adult snow piles before this hearing. Clearly been an issue for a bit too because of the mandatory observed testing. I’m only about halfway through (45:19) so I’m sure I’ll have plenty to add to this when I have finished this video. My parents divorced when I was 4 and I split 50/50 in different states, different schools, until I was a junior in highschool. If you can agree and you have an honest ex then saving money on lawyer's fees is a blessing. My now ex, who I was married to for 25 years, tried to convince me to just work out an agreement. His plan was to pay me 600 a month for 6 months "so I could get on my feet". Keeping this in mind, I was not on any joint accounts, traded in my only asset for our son's first car, and had quit my career 15 years prior to be a stay at home mom. I did not even have my own pair of shorts or tennis shoes. Fortunately, my mother knew what he was doing and paid for a great divorce attorney, and I was able to have a livable income while I restarted my career. Not every soon to be ex is honest or fair and when you give up everything for them, it is not a wise way to go if you divorce.

@@bethewalt7385 The lawyer that was representing himself.
😂
What do you think his chances are after this public debacle?
I think that was one of my favorite ones. 2 people living in delusional worlds, $400,000 in debt, not a penny to their name, summering in Bora Bora and dropping $500 a night on a hotel 3 blocks from your house where you can't park your Ferrari for some reason.
He didn’t do the drug test until Thanksgiving, because he had to wait to get a prescription for Adderall and he had to get a hair appointment…
The 401k withdrawal is cracking me up. He thought he could get away with saying $80k was the total taken out when that’s what was left after all the fees/taxes ect. He and his lawyer are 2 peas in a pod 🤣
IF HE apologizes-ish again I’m going to lose it! 😂
Mike cracking himself up, not realizing he’s on mute.😂
He can attach this hearing to his resume when applying to law firms. That should seal the deal for him.
😃
This is painful to listen to 😩. He has to be a horrible lawyer if this is how he represents HIMSELF with going to jail on the line. He's definitely use to just fumbling thru life, everyone just enables him
Yup
The dad talks about money like thousands of dollars is pocket change, freaking mind blowing up. When he said that his 401(k) was not a lot it was only 80,000 I am most choked on my drink
This judge could not be more “done” with both sides. The tutoring on how to present an exhibit was the height of passive aggressive
“Did we forget how to do that (exhibits)?” My favorite moment of the whole video!
Lol, he was done about 30 seconds after the first lawyer started talking.
This dude is sorry for everything, mostly he's just a sorry excuse for a human being.
West Virginia here
So the main point of all this is, dude has money to spend on LITERALLY EVERY SINGLE THING EXCEPT HIS DAUGHTER. So for example, has $350 and buys F-ING SUNGLASSES instead of school fees for his child. What a winner.
$468
Three things: 1) 125% speed was perfect, they sounded midwestern. 2) one got a job and is showing effort, one didn't, regardless of the past, one grew up a bit, the other may need the courts assistance. 3) Dude! not cool! you left me with a massive case of judicial blue balls! The nanny even knows better!
She would have never done that to you😂😂😂
Judicial blue balls 🤣
Yes I massively disagree with calling the mom a Karen, she deserves her child support, leave her alone 🙄
this needs to be shown to EVERYONE who will ever hope to hire him as a lawyer...any case they hire him for they WILL lose.
Making it even harder to pay his ex 🤣🤣
That she hasn’t paid 😂😂😂
Omg, the lawyer is mopping the floor with this guy
I wanna hold Mike in contempt for laughing at appropriate moments 😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤
Darn, I was hoping to find out if he was sent to jail. I can't imagine having that much money, having that much debt, and not using it to pay things off. Unbelievable.
We all know he's spending lavishly on daily haircuts and body waxing! 🤣
Probably a closet full of designer clothes too. 🙄
That’s what you call having a drug problem.
Smoke and mirrors, it's for an image, ROB PETER TO PAY PAUL.
This dude reminds me of my father. When I was 16, my mother and father had a nasty child support dispute. It was horrible. My father straight up quit his job and sold all of his assets to prevent paying child support. 30 years later, I have no idea if the man is alive or dead. I hope it's worth it to Kirk.
That's terrible! I'm so sorry. This was disgusting to witness & I feel sorry for his child. What a deadbeat a-hole(him & your bio dad lol)
@@missyhays444 thank you 🙏😍
My brother did that to my niece & is now employed by his gf a mother of 6 that knows how to play the system & her mother barely gets $30 a month (so I pick up the slack & help raise her). @@HughMadBro this guy is so in his own head I doubt he ever reflects on how this nonsense plays out for his child and their relationship. But he’ll go around telling everyone how much he loves his daughter and that she’s his world. He’ll SAY that because he’ll never SHOW it.

I never thought a lawyer would make me feel smarter than them 😂

Judge Arth listening to this with all the patience of my Italian mother when 16-year-old me was trying to explain “exactly what I thought I was doing”. Lol

The attorney fees will still leave the kids without just as the dad has done. What a flawed system
If both parents for going out of good faith they wouldn't need to pay attorneys mentioned in like mentioned in the video in front of the judge he neither denies not paying child support he agrees that he hasn't paid child support and his bank statements also show that he could have paid his child support and his obligation the mom had to pay somebody to file all those motions and fall the that paperwork of all the money the father was embezzling/ keeping from his own children
Is he drunk? Is he currently getting drunk off whatever is in that cup? 😂😂😂😂😂
It doesn't seem to matter. It's your blood level when everyone has had enough.
Judge Arth sitting back in his chair like hurry this sh1t up and please tell me why the hell your here today!!! LMFAO
It's absolutely AWFUL to hear the amounts of money being thrown around here. Thousands and thousands of $ borrowed and lent. These children have never grown up because they're being enabled by wealthy parents. It's just gross.
PS: I liked the video and am already subbed and a member...it would be awful to hurt Jack's feelings.😜
👍
Between the two of them they literally make barely above the poverty level for a family and their child is in private school and this guy is driving around in a Ferrari spending $500 on RayBans. The delusion is real.
Really sceptical that most of these debts are real. He has no documentation for anything. Minimum, why would the maid loan him money? "I'll work for free and actually hand *you* money?" riiiiiiiight...

$170k in credit card debt? I would die of a heart attack. I have about 3% of that and I think that is a lot 😂
I have a 800 dollar balance on one card and it increases my blood pressure
We throw Christmas on a card (reward points) and it’s fully paid off by tax time and that’s just about all I can take. $170k. My house didn’t even cost that much😂. He needs to understand the concept of living within your means.
The worry about being in debt would kill me sooner or later. Probably sooner and make me sick all the time. I can't even think about living in debt w/o getting a bad feeling. Never as an adult did I have any debt.... smh.
Right?
$42,000 attorney’s fees. And I’d still never do family law.
Good GAWD I love this channel. Throupple and a delicious moment of Mike doing another long comment without unmuting. Keep up the great work.
This poor wife is loving her lawyer right now and is doing an amazing job not laughing out loud and obviously but she’s almost cracked a couple times and her face is priceless at times!
She picked this loser 🤦🏻♂️
I didn’t mean for this comment to be so long! Thanks for your patience and time to whoever reads this all. 😊
Please educate me. I'm grateful.
Dad is worse, and his only life goal seems to be to not be liable for anything ... But mom is in the same ballpark. Less excessive but still outspending any income she might generate in the forseeable future by orders of magnitude ...
How is he licensed as an attorney this is scary.
They’re living like kardashians when they can afford to live like waitresses 😭😭😭
Never live beyond your means that’s what we do. We make it. We don’t have any credit card debt. Our cars are paid off and our trucks. Our house is almost paid off. Keep rolling with the flow.❤❤❤❤
I love this attorney 😆
I think Mr. Larson was one of those who's parents bought his way through law school.
Disagree with the Grandparents stepping up. They enabled these 2 right into this dumpster fire and continue to bail them out! One of them needs to hit absolute rock bottom and show the kid how to "build" a life for herself, not have it handed to her.
Just my humble opinion.
Great observation!
As a "single father with 6 children, 4-15 yrs. the Judge gave me EVERYTHING, house, kids, 2 cars. She was

I didn’t think anyone could be worse than my ex who called my attorney “kinky!” I stand corrected. This guy is high as a kite.
Lol what were they saying kinky in response to I'm curious now
They are perfect for each other!! They are both living outside their means. This plaintiff has her daughter in several extracurricular activities that she can’t afford to pay for. She clearly believes that he should be paying for it all, even if it’s her idea to register her daughter for them.
The way this guy handles money there is NO WAY he should be starting his own business! :)
As soon as they mentioned cocaine it all made sense to me. Before that I knew the guy had a problem with something, I just didn't know what.
I wouldn't trust this guy alone with a shoelace.
You're right! He''d probably snort it an choke on the little clear plastic things on the ends. He would summon all his powers of law to file a class action suit against "big shoelace"...the Nike and Addidas empires would fall. Unable to pay pro athlete's endorsements....Vans and Crocs would rule the shoe biz, but mining and manufacturing ceases as noone can figure out how to make steel toed Vans, or Arctic Crocs that. Human birth rates plummet (women over 16 won't do a guy in Crocs or Vans)...but on t he upside this douche received a settlement that was almost enough for him to pay his credit card debt.
“Have you worked?” “How do you define work?” 😂😂😂😂 no way Mr. Kirk is a lawyer 🤦🏻♀️
Just for all you that see all these people in your life that look like their doing so well. Here is a lawyer, driving around in a Ferrari, spending $463 on sunglasses and routinely having $150+ meals who is UNEMPLOYED has crippling credit card debt, cant pay his half of his old mortgage or his child support, or his child's tuition and doesn't even have $10K saved to pay a lawyer. Everything is not as it seems, most people are barely hanging on struggling to make their outrageous payments and minimums on their credit card debt... if I was American Express seeing this I would IMMEDIATELY cancel his card. He literally lives his life on credit and couldn't survive without it.
He is not unemployed! He is hiding income. "What do you mean by job?" oooohhh please.
There may not be actual Probable Cause, but my "Spidey-Senses" tell me that a search for un-declared cash and illicit drugs at his apartment and condo would tell another story.
I so much miss watching Mike Messer and his " throuple" talk! Watched home faithfully last year when Texas cps court was on zoom w Judge Simms. He is so great to watch.
I like the lawyers first priority here, to get paid, lawyer's gonna lawyer.
Also, caught the wife swivelling her chair when things got uncomfortable? Deception and self soothing at its best because she knows she ain't no better. 😂
Agree! Birds of a feather flock together.
It REALLY cracked me up when the judge had to remind Kirk's attorney on how to present and submit evidence. ROFL
Awww...even if you can't laugh at whatever Mike is saying, you can laugh that the doofus is on a roll while muted. 🤣🤣🤣
the mumbling attorney is really not worth 10k…. “are you talking about the broken down Land Cruiser”

How hard could it be for a licensed attorney to get work?
Not very. Public Defenders and appointed Council always need attorneys. Not that I'd want him representing me, but there's work! 100% guaranteed.
He’s an addict and word is out
Maybe he’s not a litigator and couldn’t get such work. He may have zero criminal or litigation law experience. I have 30 plus years practicing solely as corporate counsel, attended a top-tier law school and have a solid professional work history, and I don’t think any PD or other similar agency would hire me.
Oh sure they would you just wouldn’t like the paycheck 😂
you are usually interviewed by the managing partner before you are hired and would you hire this dude?

Omg. My dad was cleaned out in the divorce. He moved back in with my grandparents, in a different state. My parents divorced when I was 4 and I split 50/50 in different states, different schools, until I was a junior in highschool. I shared a room with my dad at my grandparents (my dad had bought them the house) until I was 14. It was awkward and my grandma had to force the issue finally, he had money by then. If you want to have parenting time, you make it.

I knew my first marriage wasn't going to last, which is why I decided not to have kids. Easy to get out. Sounds like your divorce was pretty civil.
As an Austin resident who knows all these places, I am appalled.

@@careybogdanovic7 I try to focus more on criminal stuff when I watch hearings online, but when it crops up it can be interesting to analyze as a family law attorney. I actually think husband's attorney could have done quite a bit more in this video to try and push back against the onslaught, and I don't know the backstory as to why he didn't, but certainly he missed some opportunities to object that I would have made and basically rolled over it seemed, so it can be a good training opportunity. I don't know whether you would want to do family law for a living. It's very challenging in many respects, and you have to learn how to really manage a lot of irrational behavior in clients and you just never know what's going to happen or come up. At this stage in my career, it's what I do and what I know, and I don't have a desire to change practice areas.

He didn't just start acting like this. He likely presented as a guy with all kinds of glorious plans to make a ton of money and constantly talked up his idea of his abilities to this woman.
