There was a time, a long time ago, where dedicated armlet-togglers would buy the item on every hero just because if you mastered it it was so much free HP. This was popular from bottom to mid-high level ranked but I don't think it was ever a thing in pro games. Weaver is a thematic hero because this player has arrived from the past.
Cuz 350 hp does nothing once pass the 20 min mark, there r plenty of hero can burst dmg and Insta kill u late game, getting something like aether or atos can build into a bigger item later that suits ur hero more, only low rank will do the strat u saied

@@kkirlin07 Aether didn't exist then, and the bonus HP from armlet toggle used to be instant so as long as the player timed it between attacks they'd never be below 300.
The item used to be mandatory on Huskar because he had so much magic resist at low HP that he was borderline unkillable.
When the main character was supposed to be the 8,000 matches weaver with 0 behavior points but it turns out that the guy who was afk and abandoned was the real main character

Black out happen once, got it run back after more than 30min+ i come back into the game at lvl 5 while the rest already 20-25 and make a comeback for the team winning the game after an hour xD.

Why you gotta call us legends out like that man? Honestly even if I do get an abandon for failing to reconnect fast enough(usually coz of power outage or net issues), I still have my pride to continue the game and help my teammates get the win even if I don't benefit anything from it.

I am surprised this has never been brought up. Abandoning and disconnecting, only to reconnect later is a common boosting strategy. The game gives bonus gold/exp to the rest of the team until the player reconnects, giving that team an incredible boost. The players then won't sell the disconnected players items and it's like nobody left for 5 minutes, except for the extra gold and levels on 4 heros.

I have gotten down to 400 behaviour score due to Dota not working properly with my old PC hardware anymore. All other games worked FINE btw, just Dota being a pain. I feel for that guy and hope he gets a PC. I know the struggles all too well
Have you tried changing dota graphics option from vulkan to opengl? That solved it for me, I had to add the "--gl" or smth into launch options tho, the ingame option didn't work for me

The lowest i've been is like 7k after two abandons after swapping to vulkan and realising it crashed my game, so i honestly have 0 clue how anyone gets to 0.

Rafael, once you get below a certain point it often becomes a self fulfilling prophecy because you are teamed with other toxic players against non toxic players but the MMR balancing remains the same. So you end up losing 65% of games which makes you madder and madder causing more toxicity and it's a never ending cycle to the bottom.
@@XekTOr89 I'm 900 behaviour score, and you're right, you get perma-muted if your behaviour score is below 3,000. That Weaver had at least 3,000 behaviour score

Armlet toggling isn't difficult. Since its a source game, you can make a 'loop' bind that de toggles and toggles the armlet within a frame. Yes you can still die while toggling since you have 1 frame when its off. It makes armlet very, very strong when you have this keybind, but also as you see really inflates your confidence to dangerous levels.
It doesnt work like that anymore. Halth increases gradually. So if you are getting sustained damage above zero while you are toggling, you will die

Im proud to say that my highest is 4803 mmr when dota 3 introduced (7.00) and now im 3 digits mmr with 800-1200 behaviour score and always teamated with fxckers it feels like hell and i wanna reflect to get out and now i have 6700 behaviour score after i use "no incoming chat"

Dota is a hard game for me to play since my parents dont respect my freetime and constantly makes me do errands that they could've done briefly themselves. Id constantly get low prio and my behavior score was reduced to 1.6K. Yeah, painfully hard to play since its hard to commit for an hour long session of a match
Bad PCs, timing issues (queues up for a game though they have to be somewhere in 20 minutes), and "everyone but me" complex.

I think the lowest you can get is 1 behavior score. I remember getting 1 behavioral score and didn't get lower than that. Maybe it is changed now.

I have over 8,000 matches and am herald, but its mostly turbo, over 50% winrate still though
Behavior score actually had (might still have) a horrible bug where if you go below 1 (or 0) it will stack overflow back to 10,000. It's not well documented because not many players manage to get that low of a behavior lol

I wanted to see how fast you could lose that score and it's actually real easy in SEA, I went from somewhere in 6-7k due to a life of techies to I think low 3k now in about a month of pure SEA dota and it's refined my insults down to what hurts.
Doesn't seem to do much, though that could be why I get games quicker?, since more animals than people play in SEA?
Dont be fooled, people who have 10k behaviour scores in SEA are simply the people who talk trash one in ten games but during that one game, they're gonna hurt you where it really hurts.

I must say silencer is not herald. The fact that in 8:27 he went back before sniper died because he was counting on the dps and placed a ward just out of the tower vision is NOT what a herald would do. Weaver though, that guy deserves his place

i remembered when i was in middle school, i play with my crappy laptop which keep getting me dc and cannot return to the match. its sometimes shut down on its own. i got like 20+ low priority matchs.
Honestly although they play pretty bad compare to many players, i can see they are having fun and having some really cool moments like vs swaping sniper from arena, shaman trap himself and kill jekiro. They definately feel they were really cool at those moment and felt those bloodrushing adrenaline. I had those time when i was a beginer too, and it is those moments which makes me like dota.
This is herald rank but still looks better than all of my games. All of my teammates always pick atleast 4 carry, one of them will going jungle till minute 20. The best scenario i had:
1. Im going solo on offlane or
2. Im solo supporting
This was common a few years ago maybe 4-5 years back but it rarely ever happens anymore lmao what rank and behaviour score are you?

Once my internet got me abandon 2 matches in a row, in different days. I stopped playing after the connection error and 3 or 4 days later, tried to play and same thing happened when the game was like 30 minutes in or so. My behaviour score reduced from 10k straight to 3 digits. Quitted dota for that. Started a new acc then got bored from it and wanted to play with my good old main. It took me 500ish games to get it back to 9k, all conduct summaries green and avg. 15 comments each. All summaries it was getting up like 80-100-150 points. I remember waiting 48 minutes to find a match. I wish online games had a feature to get feedback from ISPs about blackouts and stuff.
Whn you leave the game but someone mumbles so you come back to win and say "WHAT DID YOU SAY???"
I had a fun time with Sniper Armlet before. Me being in Archon even helped me a little because some kids at my age (below 18) doesn't understand the power of Armlet Toggling and would often even turn a 3v1 gank into a double kill with my Mask of Madness.
This is a great example of why I religiously ban silencer in every game in low mmr
noone actually said this weaver was cheating. armlet was toggled instantly (usually it has a delay between toggling, which is visible when armlet icon transitions into off and on state, which he didn't (it always had "on" icon)), and armlet was always toggled below 260 hp threshold (which is why he died to neutrals) and only when he wasn't invis:\
it doesn't have a delay. U can use it instantly however u want
@@kaldravernus4488 it does. try to load up character demo lobby and toggle the armlet different ways: 1) using ur keyboard software that will double-tap your armlet hotkey instantly 2) using the script via console when in the lobby: bind G "dota_item_execute 0; dota_item_execute 0" (assuming your armlet is in the first slot, you press "G" and the armlet will be toggled much faster).
even with second way it doesn't transition instantly, with cheats this delay is fully removed I guess. yet the difference in delay is quite noticable.
Don't know if he got the new computer but he seems to have been promoted to guardian. 😂
