I love the coffee table! So unique and different from anything I've seen on TH-cam. And the best about this: I would have not thought that this is an Ikea coffee table.
@@d.m.7696 th-cam.com/video/Hrkc36zil3U/w-d-xo.html but I speak Russian there, unfortunately I don’t speak English, although I would very much like to, I use google translator, just see the result at the end of the video, this is a cheap ikea table - I hope you like it
Sweetheart, please stop undercutting yourself by constantly reminding us that you are not a professional. We know that and we don't care. You are talented and we are all here to be inspired by you. 💜
I can truly appreciate the form, color and texture of the coffee table. I could see this in a modern loft type space. The pendant light with the pleated shade looked so expensive, as did the extra large candle. These were my favorite projects!
I’m so happy you did the coffee table tutorial! I’ve been wanting a concrete table, but haven’t been able to justify the 2k+ price tag of the ones a like! 100% will be trying this!
I totally agree but you can get the top of the table for like 20$ in ikea! you dont need to buy the whole table if you're only going to use the top part!
Jorge, the coffee table is spectacular! The overall aesthetic draws you in. I like the texture and color. You make the project seem very doable for a beginner. Thank you for sharping.
Additional thoughts: (1) by leaving the table legs hollow, you can use them as a hiding place for valuables. (2) by adding citronella to the large candle, it would make a very effective mosquito repellent for outdoor gatherings.
Wow, you outdid yourself on that Ikea table. It really looks like concrete. Definitely my favourite! If you still have the legs, they make great slimline wall shelves. I have two in my bathroom which I attached with a few command strips and they haven't budged in 2 years. Perfect size for toothbrush and other small toiletries. And you can add a thin dowel to create an edge stop and use them to display small framed pictures too :-) The final stool I am undecided on :-) Definitely looks less plasticy but am wondering if a very thin layer of the same concrete mix before spraying would have lessened the machine formed look of it a bit more? 10/10 for ingenuity as always though :-)
Wow! Love it! I never would have thought to try this This concept could work with an end table as well. Thanks for stepping out of your comfort zone and trying this
I really like the coffee table! Looks industrial. Cool!! Very clever pleated lampshade idea! I would never have thought of gluing sheets of paper together. Brilliant!
I'm just here to worship the King of DIY on YT! I've been away for a minute just taking a break from social media but how in the world have you made my jaw hit the floor all the way from the UK on the very first video I've watched after my sabbatical? The coffee table is like something you would see in West Elm or somewhere swanky (and expensive) like that. Love it.
WOW I am so happy I found your channel. The coffee table looks EXPENSIVE! I love how the legs off balanced with the placement. It looks so elegant and purposeful. Can’t wait to watch the rest of your videos 🥰🥰🥰
Really like the candle. Like the other projects but the candle is up my alley , REALLY SIMPLE. thought one could add sea shells in the wax or other decorative items ! Soo clever !
Oh wow wow wow wow wow wow I love the coffee table!! It's absolutely stunning! You did an awesome job. Now to watch the rest of the video! I love everything you do! You have a real God given gift my friend! Xx
Well.... I'll be! I LOVE the coffee table and nobody would know its ikea. The idea of skim coating the legs instead of casting them was genius! Thank you!
That table!! I love the concrete finish so much! This is what I love about your channel. You do stuff no one else is doing, and whatever you do is always on point! I also digging the huge candle. It looks like a birthday cake when it's lit. lol! 🤩
I love all of them. I love how you execute and display the idea that less is more! I enjoy the the clean flat, industrial tones and textures of all three pieces. Thank you for showing everyone that it is okay to pick up things in colors that aren’t ideal because there’s power in spray painting & DIY! 🖤🖤🖤🖤
Not sure if this has been mentioned yet: for cutting sonotube or other round stock evenly, mark a single measurement at your desired length, then wrap tape (1.5" masking is ideal, but you want something that won't stretch and has some width) around the tube at your mark. When the tape overlaps after wrapping the entire circumference, adjust the tape so the overlap eclipses the tape underneath as best as you can. The edge of the tape sitting on your mark will be straight, and close enough to perfectly in-plane for any DIY use case.
Hi Jorge! I've used the feather finish concrete product on my floors and have wondered what diy I could do and you gave me ideas! That coffee table made my mouth fall open in disbelief that it's a diy! I wonder what that little stool would look like with gold dipped leg bottom? The little seam there looks like it's asking for it. Ha! Great projects! Stay Jorge, always!
Love the coffee table!!! I'm one of those who hates the pleated shades since I've lived through that phase - they are dust catchers. But, to each their own.
Don’t second guess yourself. Not everyone will like every piece but we can all appreciate the art of it. I WOULD buy a table like that because I think it fits many style homes. I’ve already left 2. Moments and I’m barely watching project 2 😁😁
That coffee table 😍 It's so cool and expensive looking. I love what you did with the kids stool too. I need your creativity in my life. Diy's look so easy until I attempt them lol I need to bring you to my house for a week or two just to fix my failed diy projects. Great content as always, Jorge.

I totally agree but you can get the top of the table for like 20$ in ikea! you dont need to buy the whole table if you're only going to use the top part!
Can we just talk about the table for a sec. Omg what a beautiful piece. Gorgeous 👏👏👏😘😘😘🌹🌹🌹I luv everything as always.
