It's become something of an event for me, when you post a new video! Because I know I'm going to listen over and over. Captivating! Thank you for highlighting your voice!!!!
Appreciate you bro!! It can definitely cut through a dense mix as is and then a darker source would benefit from it. Pair it with solid front end, it’s dope mic for $799.
Definitely appreciate you for checking out the video and coming by the channel, and the kind words! So many factors are involved in the channel activity and I review them frequently when I look at the metrics. But like you said I plan to keep going! Your support, sharing the video, and commenting helps!!!!
That Mojave definitely has some crispiness to it compared to the other 2 mics. Definitely not bad at all, just sounds very different. Great vid and performance as always man!
My bad man I thought I responded to this. You always support and that’s definitely appreciated. I think it is voiced fairly different and on the right source, that crispiness gets closer to the desired tonal goal. For final vox with that, I’d definitely be using some EQ and then a nice colored Comp.
@@CarlMooreMusic Hey it's all good man. And of course I gotta support the homie! You put out great content and there are not a lot of us doing this so I'm always cheering you on! 👊🏾
Thank you Carl for such great content on your channel! Very good comparison and super vocal as usual. I wonder if you at some point could do a comparison between the top handheld condenser microphones which could be used in both live- and studio situations. Dpa Dfacto, Sennheiser e965, Neumann kms 105, Earthworks, Akg etc
I actually just had the Mojave 201 fet and also the new UT twin 87 , they were alright, but returned them both because my Audio Technica AT4050 sounded better on most vocals whether it was singing, yelling, growling, screamo, rap I found the 201fet was a bit more sibilant and the mids were sorta too transparent where it sounded kinda thin, The UT Twin87 was just all around thin, absolutely no warmth, but still sounded good in its own way , just had no depth to it You should definitely check out the at4050 if you ever find one for cheap! Great video like always!
I had the AT4050…I loved that tone and always favored that over other popular mics like Nuemann TLM 103, TLM 49, Laten Audio Atlantis etc…but I just replaced it with the Telefunken TF51…it has that tone of the AT4050 but better clarity…definitely was worth it…(new in open box for $1,200 on ebay)…just incase you want a upgrade down the road with more clarity but keeping that tone…
@@minusx31 hey thanks for the info on that, I was actually looking at that mic, and had an opportunity to get on for $800 at my local store a few months back but I passed on it , now you say this and I wish I would have! Maybe I’ll look for it now, I really like telefunken I just was worried this one might have failed compared to the others, I just checked the prices and wow they really went up since this mic came out!
Rylan - I’ve never had the chance to work with any Audio Technica mics. I’ve heard the references several times, so I guess I’ll have to check them out. The AT4050 gets mentioned quite often but do you have any experience with the AT4060A? Thanks as usual for supporting the channel and interacting.
@@minusx31 ah wait no I was talking about the tf11 , it IS INFACT THE tf51 that I have been looking at! I really want that one compared to the 47, it’s weird because the tf51 is supposed to be based after a 251 and yet it seems to sound darker and more rounded then the tf47 which I found to be a bit more sibilant

That MA201 FET is my choice I think between the 3! Had the best blend of warmth, body and air to me. Great job as always bro!
Appreciate you bro!!

Agreed,
Paired with a 1073 it's a masterpiece. Check the ProduceLikeAPro demo they made 3/4 years ago, it's astonishing.
As expected, the best channel when it comes to mic comparisons type videos 💕 keep up the great content!
Definitely appreciate the love!!!! More content coming!
@@CarlMooreMusic please do wa87 r2 next time! 💕
It’s coming in a specific video!!!
Great video. I just don't understand why a great channel such as this one only has 1.8k Subs. Keep up the good work sir, I really enjoy your content.

Sounds like you got that TF51 for a steal. Any sound examples? I’ve been asked to check that out along with the TF11 for mics under $1k
