- We made it to 1,250,000 subscribers on our youtube channel! In honor of the accomplishment, we are going to bring back the Subscriber Challenges every 50,000 Subscribers that the channel gains! But this time I decided that I am going to be the one that steps up and challenges myself o attempt my first trick back on my BMX bike since my accident 19 months ago! Today I grinded a rail with my BMX bike for the first time since the accident and I am so proud of myself and I want to thank my family, my friends, and all the youtube subscribers for all the support!

scotty was wobbly with nerves until about a foot before the rail and then muscle memory took over and he nailed it!
I see he needs to take it easy, but, the ability is still there.

Also if you watch he pulls up like they did to get on rail and at the end he pulls again to get off and has a better get off than any of them.

I remember watching that video of you walking out of the hospital when your first had your accident and i was so proud and seeing how much progress you made is incredible you truly are and inspiring person cant wait to see where you go next bro keep killing it on the bike your a legend

YES! Killed it! This is the best channel on TH-cam. Any other person would have given up after what Scotty has gone through and it's a huge inspiration. Not just his ability but his enthusiasm. Like he said he's won everything there is to win and seeing someone like that being genuinely thrilled about a no hop double peg is incredible and the support from his friends is overwhelming. He has a truly good group of people surrounding him. Congratulations, Scotty!

Only a strong person with a real purpose could come back like Scotty. Such a huge inspiration. Great friends showing love really helps too.
I continue to be impressed by Scotty's willpower and recovery. My cousin suffered an almost identical injury back in the early 90s, and is still in a wheelchair. Of course, no two spinal injuries are really the same, but still, I never expected to see this, and I'm so happy to have been wrong.

You have always been such an easy person to look up to. I’m proud of you, you prove to people anything’s possible. Thank you for everything you have done for the world. Anyone else notice that when Scotty's excited and has adrenaline-pumping in his system his body moves more freely? Like when he got off the bike after doing the rail ride he wasn't even moving like he was injured. It's freaking amazing what the body is capable of doing.

Its going to be interesting to see Scotty progressing further and trying other tricks. (We all know thats going to happen.) His brain knows how to do all these tricks and what they feel like, but will he have to actually relearn things or will muscle memory/reflexes kick in once he has the physical strength to do them.
Think manuals, he pretty much mastered them. Once he has the physical strength to do them, will he have to relearn how to do them, or will his brain remember the feeling and hell be able to lock in and hold them as long (or close to) as before.
Either way, it put a smile on my face watching this.
I'd imagine if he gets the strength and control back, which I really hope he does, that it would take a few good tries to warm up and get back into it. Think about something you haven't done in a long time that you might have mastered. You still know exactly how to do it but until you get that muscle memory back it might feel kinda awkward. Especially if its something out of the ordinary and challenging like doing a manual around his whole house.
Scotty has always been my biggest inspiration. I enjoy watching his videos everyday, but this video is by far the happiest a TH-cam video has ever made me. He is the perfect example of someone who never gives up and tries their absolute best to accomplish their goals.
I have been watching his videos daily since he started his TH-cam career, his accident was the one of the saddest things ever, and watching him recover has made me appreciate life how it is, and I would never wish to change it.

So I've never heard of Scotty up until about 3 days ago. His story hurts my heart man. His positive outlook and how it must feel too see your old videos and wish you could fly just one more time. Now that is true friendship... seeing the smile on Scotty’s face just, it made my entire month, it did all that, but some people don’t believe words, but I believe this, I believed Scotty would be okay. and he could do this, and the smile on his face, made me smile. And I may have shed a tear, or more... but, looking back, you will let nothing stop you, and I follow in those footsteps, you are a hero in some peoples hearts. But overall... Scotty, You are the man.

YEAH BUDDY. As someone who's broken his neck and gone through a recovery I'm so glad to see Scotty riding and getting back at it. Its humbling to be that good at something and then have to relearn it all over. Good on ya Scotty.

I don't know if you have time to read all these comments, Scotty, but I have two things to say. First off, your attitudes is amazing. Many of us would be sitting around feeling sorry for ourselves if we were in your shoes since the accident. Your are a real role model, not for bmx, but for life in general. Secondly, through all of this, these people have stayed by your side just like when you were winning trophies. Those are real friends and many people never even have one friend like that. You are all a good group of people. I wish you and your friends and family the best.

Like any other person would just accept the fact that they won’t be able to walk again. NOT SCOTTY. I started watching this channel I call my family I think when they had 155,000 subs or something around that number not 100% sure the number but it was in the 150,000 to 160,000 sub mark just love the enthusiasm and support they all give each other, and when I started watching them big boy was the odd one out(sorry big boy) but to this day he is a weapon of all things, like what a family big boy has to push him and make him think that the sh*t that he thinks is impossible is only a thought of disbelief and doubt in himself but all I can say is look at the OBB now.
Scotty is an inspiration to all people but with the friend and family he has who really couldn’t come back from an injury like his.
All I can say is I will meet yous one day and I will never forget the Cranmer channel. Best wishes to Scotty tho hope he can get back half the riding style he had, for everyone that reads this and agrees with me is a true Cranmer family lover!!!
