- I got back on my BMX bike at woodward camp and filmed a video of myself riding the biggest ramp since my accident! It was such an awesome feeling riding the mini mega ramp and I am so prod that I have accomplished another goal of mine! Also we were filming the Vans BMX Pro Cup Qualifier and I signed Big Boy up to compete!

I’m an old man now but I used to ride my heart out from the late 80’s to the early 2000’s. Man, I remember watching those early Dew commercials, Rad and and finding anything that would launch me in the air so I could spin. I built my quarter pipe after talking my grandparents into buying the wood and off I went. It wasn’t long before I was 1’ then 3’ then 5’ then 7 and 9’ out doing any and everything I was seeing Fiola, Blither, Josh White and the rest of the legends doing. I built another ramp to carry around with me so My friends and I could do backflips in water and on slopes. I heard about a ramp contest in Birmingham where I lived, RL Osborn and a few other good riders were gonna be there, so I rode home as fast as I could to get my bike which I hadn’t been on in a week, but I didn’t care, I wanted to show off which I did. I was hitting 7’ airs, look downs, can cans, no footers and placed 3rd behind a CW sponsored rider. One of my favorite riders back then was Joe Johnson, he was doing tailwhip airs on the ramps in 89 before anyone else. My second favorite was Josh White, he was also fearless popping out 540’s 7 and 8’ out while everyone else was doing good to hit those 3’ out. Those were some of my best memories, so every now and then I look on youtube to watch you guys ride and It makes my day. I’ve watched Mr. Cramner on and off for a while now and am always amazed at your talent. These are the memories that will be with all of you for the rest of your lives so keep being epic! One day Scotty, you’ll be flying again. Keep up the good work.

Big Boy's second run was a beast of a run. Getting off a crash and then upping the game MASSIVELY from the first run. Not too shabby.

I wonder if scotty would have been so passionate about teaching big boy and the other dudes if the accident hadn't of happened. I've never seen a pro rider offer that kind of motivation or teaching because the pro is usually trying to constantly get a leg up over the competition but because Scott isn't worried about competing right now, you can see that he is pouring his heart and soul into his friends and he is getting true enjoyment through giving them knowledge/ motivation and watching them succeed and have fun.
That's what life is actually about. It's not about always being the best or always being above the competition, it's about sharing your knowledge and motivating your friends to do the impossible. Scotty has some good friends right there

Also I am so happy because I went there for a school field trip back in 7th grade and I was asked out of all the seventh grade classes if I wanted to ride there but I said no because I knew that someone would step up and show me up and that is you.
Matty doesnt need to be treating big boy like that when hes riding in a contest. i know he might think its just joking but matty might as well be hurling insults at him. big boy is a good rider and wen hes already nervous and the pressure is on, Matty would be much better off not saying anything since he is obviously doing his best to embarrass him. idk any one who has came up like my guy big boy has. Scott and big boy are the most inspirational riders on the channel for me, and always have been since I started watching. OBB deserves all the credit in the world. Im 32 years old and havent rode BMX for at least 12-15 years but Big Boy is the one that inspired me to get back on it.
