I know I’m in the minority but Cody vs Randy, Cena, and Drew should be prioritized over Cody vs The Rock at this point due to the storylines currently playing out, so I really wasn’t up in arms about Rock being buddy buddy with Cody like everyone else. IF Rock is going to wrestle at Mania, Rock and Roman will more than likely be the move. But yea this show was SUPER corporate. Hogan wasn’t needed and as much as I love Undertaker he wasn’t needed either, both appearances were jarring as hell
In my opinion the show was overhyped, half of the show was a netflix glaze fest and "hey look who is in the crowd" also the way they ruined The Rock's story was very disappointing.
Just like Saturday Night's Main Event on NBC, The RAW On Netflix debut isn't for hardcore Wrestling fans. I had that mindset going into the show and enjoyed Roman's story with Solo ending and Rhea's story with Liv FINALLY ending. Disappointed The Rock isnt Wrestling at Wrestlemania but overall Monday night's show got two thumbs up from me.
You know what would've been better? If Hogan come out as Hollywood Hogan, crapping the fans for turning against him, then Steve Austin comes out, and shutting him up with a stunner, taking Hogan's beer and pour it on Hogan's face, telling him that his new beer sucks. That would be a great moment.
Literally every 38 secs we had to be reminded it’s on Netflix! Was so annoying! They need to delete Hogans promo it was pointless. There was also microphone issues everywhere. I laughed at the drone work cus whoever was flying that thing had more than a couple beers. Thought they were gonna fly in to someone or the wall lmao. But like that it’s easily accessible on Netflix now.
Where does Bloodline go from here. Splitting Jacob off?? All babyfaces won their matches. So if tonight needed to be about spectacle and good feelings accomplished

For a regular RAW, it was fine. For the first RAW on Netflix it was meh. I think they needed to end some storylines first. Rhea and Liv. Tiffy with the cash in Friday night and Roman and solo.
I give this Monday Night Raw a 6/10 mostly because of how the higher ups in wwe insulted our intelligence, feeling and thinking that we all forgot what happened to Cody at the hands of The Rock outside of that the presentation of Monday Night Raw was fantastic as well as some of the action we got in the pro wrestling ring

Rock was the biggest disappointment tonight . All Matches were good . Hogan getting booed was good . Rhea with taker was cool . That’s it . Needed rock to announce himself as the leader of the new bloodline and had heyman side with them .
The problem is that the rock probably would be busy and wont be there
Show definitely didn’t live up to the hype but Hogan getting boo’d out of there was wonderful! The Rock made no impact whatsoever! Why the hell is Drew losing already? And Seth is so much better than Punk.
2 things that made no sense. Drew losing and Liv losing. But I guess they just had to make all the baby faces win 🤔
@holdmyweight3597 it made complete sense for Liv to lose. They couldn't drag this rhea and liv storyline any longer so the title had to come off Liv. Now if I had the choice I would have had it happen on ppv but that's just me. Now rhea can go on to feud with someone else for a change.
Well said all around JD, we get it, it was a show for the Netflix execs with Hollywood glitz, but they could have done more.
RIP to your aunt Teresa bro. May the Lord bless her and keep her close to him.
I miss old ecw wrestling. Barely any money but the shows were awesome.
I got 0 commercials in USA not sure what happened with yall. It look like a commercial go dark - then raw came right back on
That's what I had on Netflix in Canada.
All verbal promos were muted unless it was for WWE things. Example Cricket was muted etc.
"Past mistakes" my ass...Him saying the N word was a choice.
So for HOG, who is the play by play and who is color commentary? I bet you guys are great!
What the hell was this show supposed to be
Something about booking for new audience nonsense. When in reality wwe just did whatever they wanted knowing it would be excused due to big names showing up so we have to eat it up!
Corporate sponsors
Am I the only one who actually liked this RAW? It felt like a mini PLE which was way better than we expected. If every episode is gonna be like this. I am all in. Let’s gooo!! 🔥🥳
@@holdmyweight3597it won't be coz the tribal chief match and the Nia Jax vs Naomi match should have been on Smackdown, so you would have only a half of this Raw without the ton of stars...
I thought bc amplified was too negative on hhh but after tonight's show i really have to agree with him . Gr8 stream jd 👍
Praying for jd OTC for life
God rest your aunt's soul and condolences to you and your family JD 🙏
Got both my brothers to watch it after they both quit watching for the better part of the last decade. And sadly they were both let down. As I’ll continue to watch they feel as if the product wasn’t good. Rightfully so. Feel WWE let everybody down from lifelong fans like me and returning fans like my brothers.
Can someone remind me what streaming service Raw is on? They didn’t tell me enough or plaster it enough all the show for 3 hrs.
JD sorry for your loss. I enjoy your podcasts and tnt even though I watch it in the morning but I love listening to the podcast when I am working keep up the great work
I know I’m in the minority but Cody vs Randy, Cena, and Drew should be prioritized over Cody vs The Rock at this point due to the storylines currently playing out, so I really wasn’t up in arms about Rock being buddy buddy with Cody like everyone else. IF Rock is going to wrestle at Mania, Rock and Roman will more than likely be the move. But yea this show was SUPER corporate. Hogan wasn’t needed and as much as I love Undertaker he wasn’t needed either, both appearances were jarring as hell
JD which stage design did you think was better Smackdown big first or the Raw slanted screen with the cracked glass on the edges
JD is the funniest man alive today. Love it
He said the sword 😂😂😂 what kind of goofy name is that
My condolences. Great show as always JD. THANKS
Hulk hogan got destroyed by the audience
He should of came out as Hollywood Hogan
In my opinion the show was overhyped, half of the show was a netflix glaze fest and "hey look who is in the crowd" also the way they ruined The Rock's story was very disappointing.
Just like Saturday Night's Main Event on NBC, The RAW On Netflix debut isn't for hardcore Wrestling fans. I had that mindset going into the show and enjoyed Roman's story with Solo ending and Rhea's story with Liv FINALLY ending.
Disappointed The Rock isnt Wrestling at Wrestlemania but overall Monday night's show got two thumbs up from me.
We love your honesty
Wwe came across as finishing up fueds and not creating anything new. But felt more like a reboot
Royal Rumble in Saidi Arabia big mistake
Last night's RAW was ok at best. I definitely won't try Hogan's new beer lol
very underwhelming show it was mostly netflix speeches and look at these celebrities and legends and a lot of it felt forced especially when undertaker came out when clearly you could’ve had the new judgment day jumping rhea and priest then the lights go out
to me i don’t know if this show is going to get those old viewers/ new viewers to come back next week and the week after that
also the rock cut a promo at bad blood after the show saying he hated cody 😂 all that story down the drain
What an absolute BANGER of a show JD #OTSForLife
For a regular RAW, it was fine. For the first RAW on Netflix it was meh. I think they needed to end some storylines first. Rhea and Liv. Tiffy with the cash in Friday night and Roman and solo.
Also what is the song at 42:56
If the explanation of getting nothing from the Bloodline story is because it’s a SmackDown Storyline. The why did they put tribal chief match on RAW?
6/10 show 🤷🏾♂️
JD great show as always...6 out of 10
Best lucha in the world? Tony letting paul use JDGram?
Prayers up you have my condolences
Your show is awesome JD
I give this Monday Night Raw a 6/10 mostly because of how the higher ups in wwe insulted our intelligence, feeling and thinking that we all forgot what happened to Cody at the hands of The Rock outside of that the presentation of Monday Night Raw was fantastic as well as some of the action we got in the pro wrestling ring
Cm Punk shut up all doubter's tonight, Seth carried parts of the match but both guys killed it and I can't wait for their saga into 2025. AEW and Punk proved who the true cancer was in that relationship.
Cm punk looks washed TBH
@@hippiej9558 He's not a technician in the ring and never was. He was certainly slow but he held his own.
What?? 😂😂 how did he shut up anyone when Seth had to carry the match and Punk looked washed.
The match was 13 minutes long
@@Luke21-xk7uh Did you read anything past the 1st sentence of my comment lol.
Im tired of rhea hogan. Her character is ass she wrestles about 4x on raw a year and barely defends the title. Rock Cody was just horrible ive seen enough rock vs cody better not happen. Hogan being booed was so funny. Mid raw imo
Raw was crap in my opinion. I’ve seen better Raws in 2016 with Owens vs Jericho
This show was a 6.5/10. Felt wayyyy overproduced and too much Netflix ass kissing. The Rock/Cody being storyline being completely ignored was very strange.
A hard head continues to make a soft ass. How many more times will it take for WWE to get the point that NO ONE wants to see Hulk Hogan on live TV. That stench of racism, and him being an avid Trump supporter in a extremely liberal state was not going to go over well. Travis Scott smoking weed on WWE Programming was wild, I don't want to hear jack shit about a wellness policy if they're going to allow that on tv
Travis Scott not an active wrestler 😂 wtf he got to do with them and their wellness policy
Don’t forget drinking tequila and driving is cool. Kids don’t drink and drive
@@DrinoThaGodit has everything to do with them. They promote themselves as a family friendly product to appease corporate sponsors, and they've suspended many talents for wellness policy violations for smoking weed.
Do you think the favour cm punk wants is for romans bloodline to help him win the rumble?
next weeks match card looks good i think it will be a better show.
I agree. Can't wait for next week.
@@jose_s07they all have the potential to be great matches.
@@doctorslifesmatterd-l4eAbsolutely 👍.
1. Balor vs Priest, Street Fight.
2. Sheamus vs Kaiser.
3. Women's IC Title Tournament Finals.
4. Penta vs Gable
+Punk, Rollins and Gunther on the show.
It's gonna be more of a show.
this is one of JDs best reviews
6 out of 10 nothing really happened no surprises
Hulk Hogan getting boo
My biggest issue with the show is No Gunther, the World Champion. We got the WWE Champion though, what does this mean? Cody coming to Raw and Gunther on smackdown?
