Hey JD/Solomonster. Follow up from my previous superchat from Monday on JD's Raw Review. Turned out my grandmother didn't make it to assisted living and passed away yesterday evening at 97 years old. Sucks because in a matter of the last 8 months I have lost my last two living grandparents and an uncle. Sucks with this 3rd family member passing around the holidays, but I'll push through it. Figured it would be best to bring it up on here and not ruin everybody's fun with JDGram today. I personally can't wait to see it!
I loved Jason's take on the whole Tessa Blanchard situation, and I think both you & Solomonster are right in what you said as far as the way they are doing Jordan Grace, horribly in terms of how they are having her go out of Impact Wrestling plus I cannot wait to see Pentagon Jr fairs in the wwe I'm sure he'll kill it over there.
I just don't understand why people be shocked that wwe don't give you 25-30 minute matches..wwe is and has always been about the spectacle..the characters, the story..the presentation..the glitz and glamor..i have never really looked at wwe for in ring classics
@kevinlee9929 of course they've done long matches and had classics, OBVIOUSLY, but there's a reason they are called superstars and entertainers.. there's a reason Vince all but eliminated the words wrestling and wrestler.. look at the people who have carried the company as top attractions.. andre, hogan, warrior, Cena, rock, stone cold, Lesnar, taker, reigns.. these guys are character driven..aew has some of the greatest wrestlers in the world.. they be wrestling 20-30 minute "classics".. ending in draws.. and what does that get them? 200-600k views..

Great way to finish off TNT for the year. Cody rhodes winning the world title was my favorite moment of the year. It was up there with argentina and messi winning the world cup in 2022 as the greatest feel good moment in the history of any sports. They were moments that made me cry tears of joy. Cody rhodes and lionel messi are the two greatest sportsmen right now.
This was a really good episode of TNT this is truly the best show on Tuesday nights and nobody can compete with that I'm looking forward to the AEW review later tonight we get to see JD Graham make his debut on this channel for the first time.☺️

I think WWE is aware of the heelish little touches they are giving to Rhodes with the KO feud. They did this with Rock storyliness back in the day to avoid making him an irritating corporate guy that becomes a organic heel as it happened one day with Roman. This is a very smart and elegant way to give more dimensions to Cody's character in order to consolidate him in his Top babyface position he has currently.
Kairi Sane was never meant to be in the tournament, without seeing spoilers, it's Iyo to replace her and I bet it was always the plan, if Iyo isn't in that match, who wins, Nattie? Naaa, it was Iyo all day and don't know whether she wins but it should be her!
When kenny omega returns, i hope TK buys the rights to u2 beautiful day and promotes the return of kenny Omega that way. It will instantly make omega the top babyface in the world.

Then have John Cena win his 17th title at Summerslam and have him hold the title until Satuday Night Main Event in December 2025, where Bron Breakker beats him and cements him as the next guy in WWE
I remembered Scott D'Amore claimed that Tessa Blanchard was acting like witch when renegotiating her new deal. She refused to drop the title because she doesn't want to travel back to the US, so Scott D'Amore had to do business for her by vacating her title. Tessa's bad attitude costed her her job.

That Solomonster theory of Toni Storm coming in the rocker gimmick to then again going back to Timeless gimmick is bizarre and makes no sense. And about she not being a draw, I mean, she is over in her context so you put it in your main show. If nothing matters, it means that you are giving up. You have to operate in a way that make sense to being taken serious.

On the other hand, they have a storyline about a character with multiple personalities. Imho, shit like this makes AEW hard to follow from a general audience POV.
JD been watching for years and you got a reputation of yelling and cussing and being animated. But seeing you chill and calm talking with Solomonster is refreshing to see two guys talking reasonably about wrestling. The vibe is great and neither of you guys are saying anything over the top just because. It's raw and real here.

Regarding SNME, I thought they could have removed one of the matches to allow more breathing room, especially for backstage interviews before and after matches like they did back in the day. Also, 100% with JD on the unaired KO attacking Cody segment so they could blow themselves over how many people watched it on social media. 🙄 The notion that that’s going to become more and more of a thing is nauseating. Maybe they can go all the way and put their PLE main events on social media instead of on Peacock. “Gotta get those precious social media views to be considered to be cool kidz!” Smh 🤦♂️

I think WWE is aware of the heelish little touches they are giving to Rhodes with the KO feud.
