Most adults already have negative views on metal music, so they already assume or think they don't like it. Meanwhile, kids are open-minded and have not yet been conditioned by society to view metal music in a negative manner. That is why most Metal fans still have some of that kid left alive inside them. When they act like theyre too good for Metal music or that it was just a "phase", thats when the inner-child dies.

You are absolutely right ! Playing at the street is something unusual which brings new experience. I also play on the street but with bass which is much more difficult to listen. I also shared some video on YT with SOAD, Soulfly, Guano Apes, Cradle of filth....and some other bands. It is very fun to observe how people behave around.
