Please pray for my friend aaron rosenbloom he is in hospital with covid and has taken a turn for the worse nurses say its gonna be hour by hour now please help with prayers he needs them
Thanks fr. Dr. Maurice for leading me down memory lane. You used to be our charismatic leader those days in the seminary. God bless seat of wisdom seminary both formators and seminarians.
Every blessed day of my life i keep wondering why my elder brother didn't made it to the Alter among the 30 students in their set then, 29 all made it to Priesthood only my brother didn't get to the destination after so much money my parents invest on him in this very "Seat of Wisdom Seminary" 😭😭 God why?
I understand the pain, but is it really about money spent or invested on the young soul? If we see it as a vocation or A CALL would that not be better conceived? If he learnt something there and is doing well, impacting positively in the world, the family and the church then he is still on the track. There are much debates today on whether people force themselves into this order because of family or social pressures and fulfilments....when one considers what family have invested and what people would say if he quits after a long way. If he is happy and serving his God and humanity then he lost nothing absolutely my dear. Though this is hard to understand sometimes but believe me it is the truth. In our local context and certain circumstances, families and friends tend to enjoy the priesthood more than the priest himself and what fruits does that bear to his life and the church? Another argument comes from blames against formators or agents through whom one is expelled. Inasmuch as certain expulsions have "ill-fated" or "ill-willed" circumstances but we have seen such giving birth to the "Josephic-slavery-prison-kingship" Endings. God writing in crooked lines is a reality. Sad interruptions in a life journey can birth a diversion to the right and greater paths....it only takes resilience, prayers and time. God doesn't make mistakes and He knows how to transform human mistakes. Even the fall of Adam is described as a "Happy Fall" in the Exultet at every the Easter Vigil (a deep theology) right? Life if greater than logic!
This is beautiful
God bless you brothers
