    I never pictured in my thought that Eastern Samar was this beautiful! You showed so many beautiful places here especially in the province that I was so amazed! And the drone shot was incredible too! Thank you so much KD for showcasing the natural beauty of this country, the Philippines!🇵🇭👍🙂👍🇵🇭

    I love what you said about the Yolanda Beach 11:18, it's like what they say "“Not all storms come to disrupt your life, some come to clear your path.”"

      That's what I always thought. As a person coming from the laylayan status at my childhood, typhoon was always a fiesta. First of all we have only a tiny kubo, made of scrap materials. If it is damaged not worthy. Second we can collect fruits on the ground brought by the wind from the forests, a clear water flood that becomes our swimming pool. The next day there are plentiful of rice and canned goods distributed. But I do feel sorry for the the farmers especially when their rice is close to be harvested and it was completely damaged. After the clean up of the debris, the natural environment becomes more beautiful than before. It is the man-made structure that is damaged.

    11:33 such a powerful positive thought. I hope and pray all typhoons are like that on all beaches there.

    This place I visited in 2007, that every person should visit once in a lifetime. Here is a place where beautiful Ph meets the Pacific Ocean. Please try to go to the Old American airfield there which is abandoned. There is an island called pearl / garnet island near . Try for a island hopping. There was a famous film personality of pinas who was the Governor of the province .

    If you go back to Guiuan, visit Suluan island also., the rigid and rocky hills are picturesque, and some white beaches.

    My father was a US Navy Seabee stationed first north then south of Guiuan from December 1944 to September 1945. Various Seabee units built much infrastructure to help liberate the Philippines in World War II. The airstrip at Guiuan is one item built by the Seabees.

    During the American-Filipino war...there was also a war between the apache American Indian vs us army lasted 24 yrs.
    Some American that were send to balingiga eastern Samar fought the Indian war and they called the Filipinos indians who were fighters...so when the Americans were attacked inside the church dress in women with machete or bolos inside their dress and the outside their tents...the Church bells were used to signal the attack using swords and arnis sticks...which killed 47 American soldiers...and when the 2 wounded soldiers reported to general Smith...he order to kill all males 10 yrs old and above...basically orders the Massacre of the Samar islanders..

    • @bmercadal6805
      @bmercadal6805 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Before the US 🇺🇸 returned the balengiga bells...I have a friend a truck driver and a retired us airforce from Wyoming state where the bell was kept at that time. He said it was there but he can't steal for me because the balingiga bell was inside the military base.. the population of the intire Wyoming state was less than the population of the city of San Francisco, California...it's curse for keeping the balingiga bell belonging to the Church and state Pilipinas...

    KD everytime you enter a Catholic Church for the first time please offer a faithful prayer and make a personal wish/es your wishes will come true. In 1998 I took a CiVil service Eligibility Exam at Lingig Surigao del Sur ( you know the place right) when we arrived at the public school premises I happened to see a Catholic church just walking distance so I invited my fellow examinees my officemates at PICOP to enter the church and offer a short prayer but they did not joined me and you know what! I was the only one in our group who passed that Eligibility Exam of the Govt.
