I have to agree with you on the seat but the CBR600RR is more track biased..so having a seat that felt like a plank gives you more feel on what the rear end is doing. I did tried to tour with my CBR600RR 2006 on a 1,200miles road trip..not advisable. I can't feel my nuts after that trip
You can clean the turnsignal button. Disassemble , clean, add some type of vaseline/grease. Mine was really bad sticking and not working or working delayed. Now after cleanup its like new.
Corbin makes a hell of a seat for our bikes now they do run 100-200 bucks I run a cheap 50 dollar replacement seat and it fits great and I’ve been using it for about a year
Ride it hard or if you race it..the front master cylinder will fade really fast especially in temperate and hot countries like mine. I'd change mine to Brembo and steel braided lines...giving more bite now with very little brake fade

Nope, never noticed any excess heat coming from that. Only thing I would recommend is a more comfortable seat lol. Corbin has really nice ones, if you have the money that is. they usually cost around $300
I have a 05 600RR the bike is identical to a 2006 there's nothing wrong with that bike it is you brother it is you the only downfall to that bike is a full leak exhaust options
Only real problem with 600rr is the frame is getting really hot an is burning your knees and the clutch with gearbox is a bit twitchy .. but you hate the mirrors, grips, seat and oil filter..
Im surprised i thought the exhaust is something people sought out. It makes the bike look sleek anyway without the pipe being off to the side, and nothing to burn yourself on.
@@dirtyal6567 , this is only my opinion, but I love the look of the dual pipes on the old 916 Ducati's and 2004 Ri's. But to me the single can on the Honda's looks ugly.
So out of curiosity. Im looking for a bike thats a 600 but i need one that has a decent passenger seat for my fiance. Has anybody had a lady on the back of a cbr say its comfortable? TIA!

Mine was a piece of crap seat as well! I swapped for a Corbin. I had the stitching all blacks out it looks sweet
I have an 05 and for the mirrors I hated them so I swapped out to the wing style and I love them. Try them out

I've never had issues when it came to heat because of the exhaust.

Oil filter, unbolt the coolant bottle, filter comes right out.
Only real problem with 600rr is the frame is getting really hot an is burning your knees and the clutch with gearbox is a bit twitchy .. but you hate the mirrors, grips, seat and oil filter..
Well it is the things that I hate sooo, and I've never had a heat problem with the frame.

I wouldn't buy one simply because of the ugly, mono-pipe underseat exhaust. Haven't even gotten as far as the seat or turn signals.
