    I have a 65 one, currently standing on its foot but I want to mount it and there's much more of that thin screen sticking out on all the sides and I am so worried about cracking it. It is a heavy beast! I'd honestly prefer a tv with a more sturdy case all around.

    If there is just one thing I learned through this, and if/ when I need to move this beast of a TV, get help. Im a big guy, and I was too proud to ask. Mostly I got lucky and pulled it off, but I'd never try it again. You are literally juggling thousands of dollars of equipment. It's like those people that want to risk it all on a dodgy overtaking manouvour to get 10 seconds ahead, it's simply not worth the risk.
    If you like those sort of risks, there is a much better time to be had at your local casino. Here you bet everything, and win nothing.

      @BYT13 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@mets23q Just have to advocate following the included manual with your mount, but you should be good. To summarize the below, only 10mm actually went into the TV, but 25mm won't hit the panel or anything important.
      After all the washers/spacers and the frame itself, about 10mm of the actual thread went into the TV. I had two lengths of screws with the mount I had, 12mm and 35mm. I've read that 8mm of thread or 4 revolutions is fine, although the C1 does seem to accommodate for more, at least the 48" model.
      Not recommending this next bit, but out of curiosity I tried threading the 35mm bolt by itself and I was able to get it at least two-thirds of the way before deciding deciding that was enough. I did check the hole with a flashlight and compared the thread to the back "box" where the mounting holes lied (never reached the actual display panel).

      @@tito082895 It should. Just make sure it's fully threaded in (the threaded part of the bolt shouldn't be visible) without overtightening it.
      If you encounter resistance, immediately stop, but that should be a nonissue (if you try lining up the bolt with the underside of the TV, it comes short of reaching the display).
