The drone opens my eyes to the power and speed of those waves, right? Just gnarly, bold and blessed, congrats on your achievements Mark Healey and thank you for the inspiration.
Mark, great footage, but I sure wish, for the waves that people got long rides, that you would show all their cutbacks instead of transitioning to another clip, show the awesomeness of a long ride on such an epic swell. Thanks though for the beautiful footage share, North Shore
The face itself doesn’t look all that challenging (though I’m sure it is!) it’s more getting into position with all that water moving around, the drop, and then coping with bursting lungs when you inevitably fall or get caught inside. Full kudos and respect for sure.
Damn! Those waves look fast!! And big! And scary! It takes balls of brass to launch yourself in one of those washing machine!! It's not so much the riding part that amazes me, it's the falling part. It must feel boxing against a thousand Mike Tyson. Balls of brass!!
This reminds me building a second story add-on, to a beach home in Kuau. Watching perfect Noriega's firing from the top of the trusses. Makes me home sick as...
Damn it's such a beautiful wave, shame it's so rare, looks like it's very tide dependant too..? Perfect for the skis and pretty safe too as it fills out into the channel nicely..
I figure the people are 6ft tall in comparison to the wave and that scares the crap out of me. I’m a strong ocean swimmer and I would not stick my big toe in.
Mark, the footage was excellent! Closer, for some shots, would have been even better. Do the surfers get pissed off if you get too close to them? Anywho, thanks!
For the love of God, friend from afar, talk to me, I'm your fan, I love surfing, I'm a beginner, my home is the beach! I like your sayings friend from afar. My name is: Rubenn Dean Paul Alws "Petrópolis, Rio de Janeiro" Brazil! Boy, good! You are the man!
What is it about drone footage that makes waves look significantly smaller? Even from lower angles, the waves look small. The size and proportion distortion are why I've hated drone footage. Likewise go pro footage where the camera is pointed toward the wave. Then you see footage of the same waves from a 'regular' camera, and the true scope of the size is much more apparent. Why type of lenses are used in drones vs 'regular' cameras?
No comment, no stupid star..... so... good footage.... incredible.
so frikkkin clean
those waves traveled all the way from alaska too
Looks tiny🤏
Very nice movie. Good work Have a nice day my new friend .
Perfect swell, the beauty of mother nature

Those drone shots are beautiful.
Totally EPIC 🤩🤩🤩
WOW! Epic footage, Mark.
Phenomenal footage and editing- and this just happened!
So clean for big surf. 🤟
I'm not a surfer...but it would be a blast to ride those swells.
Wow! Just wow.
Absolutely stunning, power & beauty.
Thanks for sharing.Much respect for those go out.Oss
Them waves look so beautiful.

I made the cut! Crazy session !! Thank you
One way to sort out the crowds! So clean.
Fast waves, I was waiting to see if the jet skis’s would give it a go
Great video. Surfing these waves is a great skill. Very nice.
Amazing
Epic conditions!!
Huge and powerful swell, best thing that it’s not crowded. 🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾
A rare day and rarer riders. Epic fills the bill. They look makable, but are terrifyingly fast down the line.
So much for rolling dice! 😎🤙🤙
Balls of steel!!! Cheers boys!
So beautiful, Nothing beats shots of offshore blowing spray off back of great waves perfectly filmed 😊🤙PS , music's not bad, Top job
Beautiful waves and all the while we're all in lockdown
Love & Power working together
20 feet at 17 seconds on the bouys, too big, too fast! So awesome to see these liquid monsters!
Aww shucks I wanted to see that clean out set that one of the jet skies lunched.
Mark, great footage, but I sure wish, for the waves that people got long rides, that you would show all their cutbacks instead of transitioning to another clip, show the awesomeness of a long ride on such an epic swell.

Awesome!!!
Awesome.
Saw this on the cams a couple of days ago...knew there'd be some nutters out🤙🤙
Is this your jams Mark?? I dig it!!
Amazing. And amazing how Nazaré makes every other big wave look small.
It doesn't look small.
The face itself doesn’t look all that challenging (though I’m sure it is!) it’s more getting into position with all that water moving around, the drop, and then coping with bursting lungs when you inevitably fall or get caught inside. Full kudos and respect for sure.
Love and Respect from Colorado wine country!!
Just a bit freaky how fast those waves are moving.
🤙🏾wicked break..
Legends
The waves were on par with the Mts in background.Hefty!
Surf resembles that XXL Bali swell at Ulu's a few years ago!🤙
Fkn awesome instrumental track to an awesome video!!For anyone wondering its "witches"by "Tigerblood Jewel"
Epic!
Amazing stuff, who's playing the tunes
YAAAAHHHHHH YOOOUUUUUU HAMMAH

last one was ridiculous. anyone know what outside logs was doing this swell? great footage, mark.
Great day to take the wife and kids out for a surf
Lmaooooo, instant divorce... just add water
@@noahsherwinmusic9478 push my 8 year old son into one of these waves to make him a man

SPECTACULAR!! Is This Outside Marijuana's ??

The difference between low and high tide in Hawaii is about 2 feet. I don't think 50-foot monsters notice such a triviality.
That soundtrack! I was expecting Iggy Pop's gravelly vocal to kick in at any second.
From a bird's eye view those waves almost looked easy--I am sure the close-up view was very different.

@@u4riahsc Check-out freesurfmag latest video--he filmed the same event from the water. And yeah...the word 'easy' does not come to mind.
@@charlesmartin1121 Hey - thanks I will.
What break is this? Log cabin 3rd reef lol?
outer Log Cabins?
I had to watch it twice. Once from a surfer perspective and then from a drone pilot perspective. What kind of quad are you flying?
...rhino hunting...and bagging...👍...
Mark, the footage was excellent! Closer, for some shots, would have been even better. Do the surfers get pissed off if you get too close to them? Anywho, thanks!
which spot is that?
I believe it's Avalanche, outside of Haleiwa.
Daystar outside Mokuleia
La Jolla Shores.
New Jersey- truckstops. For sure. Can see the coffee machine.
Is this outside alligaters?
shheesh
Looks super hard to ride, even though it’s clean most of those guys were having trouble finding a line.
I know a FPV drone guy that could fly that barrel, wish he could have been there...
Phantoms?

I bet Mark Healy rode that wave going right at least once in his life!

I think I’ll keep practicing polar bear petting.
Bet they're stoked they stayed home.
Looks like you need to stay up high on the wave, but it naturally pulls you down the face. Easier said than done.

Perfect waves unlike teahupoo.
The best barrel of your life or the worst wipeout side by side
Mark your the best big guy but music for this footy is no Kine brah! Reboot with some old school Hawaiian jams like "Sons of Hawaii!"
Oh to be 21 and goofy foot
You need to get the drone closer
Drone footage is great to show the set up. Just doesnt do the size any justice. Everything just looks small from above.
Himalayas RIP Zion

Drone shots only...
LOL hundreds of surfers and nobody surfing jus sitting there that's hilarious
Turn the sound down and watch it to this th-cam.com/video/YICvNZfb1WE/w-d-xo.html
put up all the raw footage and talk about it
So you have a drone for footage a half mile away 🤭 I'd rather see you bailing off a boat at Mavs 😄
