- Grab a snack and a drink cause I’ll be showing you 7 Seoul apartment tours, ranging from different prices and sizes! This time around it did take me a while to find some apartments that I really liked, but once I found them I was able to see like 5 in a day! My top 2 priorities are to find a bigger place that can accommodate my pup Albie and me, and having loads of natural sunlight! Let’s see if I was able to find an apartment like that and which one did I eventually end up signing the contract for :)

- do you get your deposit back? Yep! However, if there's anything that goes beyond the regular wear and tear of living in an apartment then the landlady/landlord will make you pay for that ish!

Some people (LIKE ME) don't have pets, don't want pets, and don't want to hear our neighbors pets barking all the time! Where I live there is no such thing as places that don't allow pets--everyone allows them and it drives me crazy! To me that's being UNFAIR to those of us who don't want pets, why do we have to put up with that???

The 5th one would be a dream for me ! May I ask what area did you look in to ? Because in Seoul, i feel like the renting price can vary A LOT depending on it.

I'm so sorry you didn't end up finding a new space, but with time and more searching I'm sure that you'll find your perfect place. As for all the information in this video, it was interesting. Despite me already knowing how the whole down payment amount is normal in SK, I'm still always so surprised to see how much of that money you have to take into account when you're looking for a place. lol

9:06 At first when you were going through this apt. I was really underwhelmed. But when I saw this shot, it was almost like I could feel the sunlight. Imagining the room with an herb garden and a reading nook was all it took for it to be my favorite.

I just had 2add on to this important comment. I understand inflation n everything but seriously speaking, we are NOT all wealthy people. Look at 2020 so many ppl were not working, so many places closed forever. Everything has changed!
Why cant they lower prices knowing this? Why do so many of us work to pay bills and cant save money or have extra for vacations anymore? That makes life suck but do they care??? Nooo! Ughh feels like they just greedy this is America we ALL should have a place to live wtf???

Yes definitely don't give up~ I was just in the same position searching high and low trying to get away from my loud rude neighbors and after almost 6 months (but mostly 3 really active months) of searching,, finally found a place ! (only downside is my allergies from the left behind pet dander in the carpet but I'll take that over no sleep lol)

You not moving into the apartment with those huge windows and natural light made me super sad lol. I would've been like take my money now! I live in Daegu and the natural light situation is what sealed my apartment decision.

Girl, first of all, I am so glad that you are the kind of person that think about you but also, a lot about your dog. As a dog owner myself, I know that moving to Korea with dog is adding difficulties, especially when finding a place to rent... BUT, you need to know that dogs are amazing and adjust very well to almost any place.
Some studies showed that dogs living in flats are happier than dogs living in houses. Why ? Because the owner walk them a lot, spend real time with them, play, explore. While some people with house and garden, just stick to opening the door to the outside.
So don't get worked up over that part. Change your flat if the moment and the new place is right but REALLY, I am sure Albie will be the happiest dog anywhere as long as he is with you ❤️
As for the flats, the 5th one was totally my style !
May I ask you which Seoul's area you searched in ? Because the rent price can vary a lot depending on that.
Alot of ppl looking for months to a year, so don't rush, some say they search over 15 to 20 different apt until the end, found the perfect one. Definitely look for breathable and sunlight must have windows or a great view. Good luck on the search!

The staircase in apartment 3 was really weird placed but the apartment did have potential, but apartments 4 and 5 were my favorites.
it definitely did but unfortunately it just ruined my filming backdrop space :(
oh lot of love to you, i wish you are ok better now. i totally had the same situation lately.. was searching for a bit bigger place as living in a tiny flat that i love but felt a bit tiny after years and then, finally not found and even not sure to be able to keep affording more rent.. so i finally let the research and decide to stay where i am for this life season.. as finally i love where i am, and i just declutter and sold a bit of stuff to keep feeling fine there :) and realise that finally i love really where i created my nest, so might be not was the right time to move and will see in few months later, but decide to enjoy the season there for now. ojala you willl or already found what you wanted and even if, for sure, you make the best of what you have .. ;)

Personally, I actually liked the layout of the apartment with the stairs in the middle of the room. Plenty of storage. Plus, the stairs sort of make another room behind it and you could make that into a less exposed personal area instead of being able to see the whole apartment when you open the front door. I just didn’t like the yellow trim of the windows lol 😂
