One of my greatest discoveries was cognates. When I saw the patterns of similar looking words and meaning I did not have to translate words from English to Spanish and I could assume most of the words could be used from English with a different spelling like "cuidad" y "contrucción".

It's interesting how some vocab words are very similar to thier english counter parts. I like those ones because they are easier to remember.
