Great video! Really like that 121. I think we all miss them in the Cardiff Bay shuttles. It's also about time someone made the class 175, they're brilliant units.

this is an outrageous layout. you even have the tannoy people lol. being welsh id love to have this layout, fair play but LOVE IT

Matt, this is one of your best running sessions for sure. Really enjoyed it, well done. That latest Bachmann 150 with sound is great in spite of its few faults. The announcements are good also.
This was good. I'd love to see more videos like this. its just like trainspotting but on a model railway.

Fideo gwych Matt, gwelwch chi yn yr un nesaf! As a North Walen myself its just like going to my local train station in Wrexham(the class 67 is pulling my train home if I have been to Cardiff aha) I must admit I will miss the ancient Arriva stock(usually a 150 /175) pulling up to platform 4 but I am excited to see what's ahead for the future hopefully faster cheap (well cheaper) greener travel (well again as much as possible) and did I inspire this video then Matt aha after my last comment?

William Robinson not true actually. Arriva was only bought by DB in 2000 but had been trading as Arriva since 1997 and had been created from the Cowie Group

RIP Arriva. I will miss the ancient stock, overcrowding etc. It can only get better. Brilliant video, with announcements, Matt. The only good stock the WAG special?
Interesting video, may I suggest adding real ambient sounds over the top of the video in an editor just to prevent the look of the sound of the announcements and ambient stations sounds just cutting off randomly to the silence of the attic

Great video, how do you create the announcements? I’m yet to invest in DCC. Something I need to do. I live in Cardiff, so very familiar with these announcements.

How are you feeling about the 150 now? I was wondering whether you could put a piece of opaque paper against the window where the motor is to take away the blackness. Nice video with an original theme.
I would have thought Jubilee road looks bigger than that. it certainly looks more like a main station. I was expecting units to wait in the platform a long time, maybe another unit comes and couples up. I thought there might be 1 freight too

hi mat brillant me got bigger fleet lol, what did notice and I modified my pacerer to welsh destination board s from leeds one displayed got same one my self thinking adding arriver wales transfer to it in stead just Arriva ,seen few of your videos now first time to comet .
Time to get out an take some snaps of the nodding donkeys, 150/2 and mk3 dvt's (never been a fan of the atw 67's anyway) ... I think they'll be for the chop fairly soon into the new franchise.
I think Db will sell remaining stock of 158 & 175 to Angel trains leasing and completely wash their hands of it all... Gwr will likely grab em with their unit shortage me thinks!!!
All the current stock involved in the Wales and Borders franchise will be staying, the only question is the loco hauled. Should be finding out more details next week.

Hey Matt this is in 2019 but transport for Wales sounds like a Welsh company to me so I do not take it as a Spanish company

It's only the Wales and Borders franchise. Arriva Trains Wales will end in October.
