As I have mentioned earlier the inputs displaying the data points and the configuration of the aircraft is such a brilliant idea. Same here Rainy. I also like the way she shows the data inputs and how the plane is prepared for a landing in real time. Adds that little something to the videos. I imagine unless there's an emergency or inclement weather most landings would be uninteresting and maybe even downright boring. I do enjoy the scenery though. She's very tech savvy as far as making these videos are concerned. Showing us all the data inputs and then creatively hiding them again. She may be a smart cookie after all. I won't hold her blondness against her. After all not all blondes have to be legally blond. ;)
hidden?? you are funny. there are way too many tourists in Croatia every summer. croatia is tiny. it does not have the infrastructure for so many people. let me give you a news flash..nowadays nothing is hidden anymore on earth. but you are right about the last part. Dalmatia is the most beautiful area on the mediterranean. i dont care what anyone says.
Long ago, I was a B-52G navigator/radar navigator. One of my jobs was closely monitoring the approach and any nearby terrain. So, I love to watch these videos! Many thanks!!
Wonderful! When I was a kid, I was sometimes allowed to sit in the jump seat during initial approach but had to leave for landings. Thanks for filling this gap in my life!
nothing is "war torn" over there. Croatia has stunning nature, absolut gorgeous - the nature parks like Plitvice Lakes or Krka are amazing. Some villages have a very 1950s vibe, but Croatia is full of modern Vacation homes and resorts and Dubrovnik especially is worth a visit. Beautiful unique town, google the nicest image of Dubrovnik - reality looks exactly like that. The only annoying part is how hard they lean into the Game of Thrones thing. But don't expect giant shopping malls in that area.
@@roderickcampbell2105 no just Adriatic coast. The whole of Croatia is beautiful. So in Lika there is one of the most beautiful national parks in Europe - the Plitvice Lakes, then the Gacka River, Velebit... Slavonia, Podravina, Zagorje are also beautiful

I haven't flown into here for over 20 years. I see it's done up and more parking for smaller planes. I did a flight from Rijeka to Dubrovnik via Split, taking my Late Uncle and Aunty for a private flight, when I visited them, as they were my biggest supporters with my flying. Thank you so much for sharing.

The last time I landed in Dubrovnik was 1996, piloting UN cargo and pax out of Aviano AB and Zagreb. The aerodrome at Sarajevo was also a frequent ("crash & dash") stop under various support roles.

Hello from 🇨🇦! I'm an old woman🧓 living in a nursing home. To keep my mind active & help prevent dementia (sadly, most of the residents have some form of it) I'm trying to learn other languages: Tagalog (most care workers here are from the Philippines), Japanese (1 nurse), & Dutch. My physiotherapist, Antonius, is Dutch. He recently returned to Holland for the wedding of 1 of his daughters, a beautiful girl with a striking resemblance to you! Trying to learn Dutch is how I stumbled across your channel. I miss travel, another reason I enjoy your videos. Another coincidence: a resident here was a navigator for the Canadian Armed Services all his life. He has flown just about everywhere in the world, sometimes at great risk when flying into war zones--Canadian forces have done a lot of dangerous peacekeeping missions over the years. He is a brilliant man now dying from a heartbreaking illness, myositis. He is confined to a motorized wheelchair which he 'navigates' with a few fingers. He is almost entirely dependent on caregivers now & seldom leaves his room. I recommended you to him & he now watches your videos regularly. He relives his past work through you & it keeps his mind as sharp as ever. I put my ear close to his mouth so I can understand him (he has trouble now speaking) & he explains to me many details about your flights. I developed a fear of flying after a terrifying aborted landing🛫 in Kamloops, British Columbia because of huge lumps of ice stuck in the flaps & other issues. The airport has a very short runway on the top of a mountain so we had to fly back to Vancouver for a longer runway🛬. On the way back we had to practice crash landing techniques😱. People changed seats so that there was a strong man 💪next to a woman with a newborn baby🤱& another with her toddler, and another 💪with a frail elderly man & wife. There was a lot of nervous joking during that flight 😂! When we reach Vancouver we could see many planes✈🛩🚁 circling to avoid us, ambulances 🚑& firetrucks🚒on feeder runways. Then the captain spoke, explaining that we'd hit down a bit hard & it would be very loud because reversing the engines was the only way to stop the plane. He assured us calmly that he had safely landed planes much more disabled than ours & we'd be fine. When the plane finally stopped just short of the water the captain came out to see if we were all OK. He got a standing ovation👏👏👏. Have you ever flown to 🇨🇦? We'd love to see a video of that. Sorry for such a long, rambling comment. I get lonely & confused since my dear husband died here in May from Parkinson's Disease & dementia. Thank you & best wishes🙋❤. Claudia

Very nice. I was lucky enough to visit Dubrovnik many years ago. Beautiful city with great people. The strangest thig I remember was going to one of the cliffside Hotels and having the taxi drop off at the 29th floor. All the room were down along the cliff and the beach was the 1st floor. Just seeing the city brought back some great memories.

Absolute mega approach with the sun coming from the back! I would end up looking at the shadow of the airplane instead of the touchdown zone 😅
Most def a KLM pilot as you can see the plane is blue from the dashboard cam.
