I started watching Serena a few months ago. Im 60 and her channel has helped me SO MUCH!. i was out running errands yesterday and even though i wore jeans and a top ,the way i styled them from tips ive learned i must say i looked fabulous! I ran into a friend who told me i looked great and asked if i had something big going on that day. I wore the banana republic wide leg,high waiste crop in ecru, a black v neck half sleeve tucked in,cognac belt and sandals. Just the littlest things and i am loving it.
I’m 61, discovered Serena about 4 months ago, and I too, no matter what errand I’m running, I’m “elevating” my look! Just adding earrings, necklace, scarf and not wearing my athletic shoes. It just feels good to look put together!😁
Same, (I’m 73), she’s wonderful. I’ve always looked younger than my age, but her style advice has helped me to enhance my own personal style. I have added a few new things to some of my classic pieces and the complements keep coming. Thank you.
I think everyone can’t do shorts so the ones who can not think you should not , say these things. I couldn’t for awhile then with the help of gradual self tanner, alpha skincare lotion, doing pure strength class and cutting my own frayed length in white blue Jean shorts worked I I can’t do Bermuda shorts like I had Legs too short. So found a sweet spot on my leg , folded it upward & ironed a line then cut away & fringed. Worked like a charm and now I wear them. I’m a Baby Boomer too.

I love your content, Serena!!❤❤❤ So I tried the Quince‘s T-shirts. Although the price point was great, they just did not seem as durable as I wanted. Plus the sizing was really iffy. So I went to Banana Republic and I’m really pleased with their white T-shirt. I love the J.Crew jeans! Unfortunately, I am a 26 petite and they are out of stock but I will be notified when they get more in! Love your style and appreciate your thoughtfulness when you make videos.
I have to agree Serena, these pieces are the backbone of a great spring and summer wardrobe. After having lost 45lbs, I've been able to replace my wardrobe and I'm absolutely loving all of these wonderful choices! In one way or the other, I think I have just about every piece you featured! Great Video!!! I only watched the very last because of my phone and power out but will get to the rest later. I wondered about Nars and if you like EL. I have used EL Fururist for about 2 yrs and mix 2 shades also . I haven’t found anything I like better . Tried Georgia Armani but can only do with good moisture job or in summer . My skin likes the EL better!!! One trick since two shades is buying at Belk online when they have sales - I recently got one shade on sale for $42 or Ulta has them on sale at times.
As always, thanks for your advice. Some feedback about some of my recent spring purchases…the J Crew vintage slim white jeans are so comfortable and the denim quality is A+. The girlfriend T-shirts are so awesome I bought a few…solids and stripes. I got the wide leg linen pants from Old Navy but in black…more slimming for my bigger build and they are the perfect length and fit. In a previous video you showed us the gold tube sandals from J Crew Factory which are really comfortable, cute and are like walking on pillows. I also love the idea of having a 3rd layer to hide my flabby arms so bought 3 shirts…a white double gauze button down from J Crew Factory, a chambray button down from Loft and a neutral stripe button down from Old Navy. They are all oversized so I sized down according to the customer reviews (I’ve also collected a few denim jackets in various colors for a more cropped look).I love your videos ❤
I bought the Old Navy linen pants in straight leg style they brought in this year, as they were out of the wide leg in my size, but do have a pair of wide leg from last year I love. I really like the straighter leg, and I feel I can wear more looser tops with them as well. How do you feel about the straighter leg style? Ty.

Nothing is cut identically any more. Could you ask these companies to make clothes in tall. Lands End has essentially eliminated all tall items, my former go to store. You look much better in feminine clothes than I do. 😊
