I think his ground game was the best Khabib has faced so far. 1'st round Khabib did 0 damage. 2nd round he got some shots on the ground, looked very good, don;t know how much damage it did, Conor was smiling after. It's possible that Conor's team wanted Khabib to tire himself out because after the 2nd round ended his corner said something like "that's it, it's gong to be nothing but single legs from far out from now on". 3rd Was exactly as his corner predicted and Conor stopped most of the takedowns and was hitting Khabib on the feet. Conor arguably won the 3'rd round. 4th round Khabib stopped going for ground and pound because it wasn't working and focused only on submissions. I think he sensed that he could be in danger if he goes for ground and pound again and doesn't finish Conor and then he won't have the gas to take Conor down again in the 5th. So he wanted to finish it as soon as possible and he did. Overall Khabib seemed the better fighter, better conditioning, and from the second round on Conor visibly started to fade and was not as sharp. But conditioning and grappling are part of the game and that makes Khabib the better mixed martial artist.

I am glad you did not have to resort to bringing other pointless and baseless things into the picture like religion or terrorism. That was mainly the idea to have a good laugh at it. The fight was awesome, but I truly thought that Conor would have been more dominant in the first couple of rounds. I think his ground game was the best Khabib has faced so far.
1'st round Khabib did 0 damage.
2nd round he got some shots on the ground, looked very good, don;t know how much damage it did, Conor was smiling after. It's possible that Conor's team wanted Khabib to tire himself out because after the 2nd round ended his corner said something like "that's it, it's gong to be nothing but single legs from far out from now on".
3rd Was exactly as his corner predicted and Conor stopped most of the takedowns and was hitting Khabib on the feet. Conor arguably won the 3'rd round.
4th round Khabib stopped going for ground and pound because it wasn't working and focused only on submissions. I think he sensed that he could be in danger if he goes for ground and pound again and doesn't finish Conor and then he won't have the gas to take Conor down again in the 5th. So he wanted to finish it as soon as possible and he did.
Overall Khabib seemed the better fighter, better conditioning, and from the second round on Conor visibly started to fade and was not as sharp. But conditioning and grappling are part of the game and that makes Khabib the better mixed martial artist.
