I was at the fight and I can tell you there was so much more going on throughout the arena when Khabib jumped the cage. There were so many fights that broke out all over the arena between the Russians and the Irish. It was absolutely insane. I loved every bit of it 👍
that pretty much says how toxic fans can really get. respect martial art as an art and respect the fighters who train so hard to strengthen themselves and their souls to fight. this form of martial art isn't martial art at all, especially because of the way it's marketed and the trash talk and stupidity surrounding it
The way Khabib took his mouthpiece off, threw it towards Connor’s team then jumped the fence to fight after making Connor tap is the most badass thing done IN UFC history
Let me get this straight. Conor threw a dolley at a bus accompanied by 40 people, shattering the glass injuring many innocent people. Insulted Khabib’s family, religion, mindset, showing a total lack of respect and honour. Constantly exclaimed how he would kill Khabib given half the chance, yet when Khabib jumps the cage to attack a professional fighter he’s ridiculed for being unsportsmanlike and wild? Give me a break. Mcgregor had everything coming to him, and if we’re honest, Khabib jumping the cage was badass
@@NickHuffar Selling a fight by smashing a bus is stupid and cowardly unless you are in WWE, at least they let you know they are selling a fight like civilised people would and do.. @@NickHuffar you entitled people living in your own bubble always amaze me. Thank you Joe for defending Khabib, in a way what and how Khabib ended may not be best for the sport, but again going after an individual’s religion, father, family, country is just plain out of line.
Is it really? Yk the Nevada state athletic commission is very tough on things like this. You caused riots and and crowds to fight each other, a guy even had a gun in the arena, and violence sparked between the two groups as Khabib jumped the fence to be the aggressor towards Dillon Danis. I agree with the way the UFC handled the situation, as stripping Khabib is too far, but suspending him seems right considering the chain of events. Conor could have pressed charges against Khabib's cornermen and ensure they'll never be khabib's side from a fight, stuff llike his shouldn't be glorified, neither should've the dolly incident. Both actions were fucked, but I think the dolly incident should've been punished further.
@@rahuloliapuram6030 Conor got what he deserved. The arena was full with Conor supporters that night and khabib supporters were outnumbered, yet they held on their ground. As for the gun, that is US and people carry gun every where. Why that would surprise anyone? As for Khabib jumping the fence against Denis, now people know talk is not cheap.
@@mohammadrafiulhoque9183 There's a thing called self-restraint and bottling your emotions in, and keeping it professional instead of costing the company that pays you a lot of money and getting your friend's into line. Also you're not allowed to bring firearms into stadiums like that, dummy. Conor getting what he deserved is a fair statement, but it was Khabib who instigated the whole fight when he outnumbered Artem with his boys and slapped him whilst he was alone and outnumbered. Not condoning the actions of either man. Also grow up, if you have that mentality in the real world, then you're bound to get ridiculed and arrested, keep it professional because this company could do whatever to you if you displease them. Also conor supporters outnumbering Khabib ones doesn't justify the crowd riots and attacks at all. In US people shoot each other for no reason, just check the annual gun violence rate which is highest in the world lol. As for your self restrain speech, give that to your Conor puppy and all the UFC who cheered it. MMA is about respect, and sometimes it takes a beating to make people understand that. Try to speak with respect before passing judgment who is a dummy or not, or in real world people will give you a beating if you speak in that way. I was implying that in the heat of the moment of the chaos at ufc 229 in vegas, if someone fired at whoever, that could've been a disaster, especially considering this was spilling out into Vegas. Also in this instance, mma is not about respect, this is about a bitter rivalry that Khabib instigated years ago, and now tries to be the victim of because he didn't get a title shot so then he ran his mouth on Conor, slapped and abused his close friend by cornering him with his team, and this all escalated into ufc 229. Who do you think you are? Guy was way over his head, and he got off easy.
Here in the USA we use common sense. The cartel isn’t running rampid and there aren’t drug scolding border hoppers left and right. The shit talk is a part of the fight. Khabib knows what he’s getting into. To attack an audience member and possibly get his friends to jump Connor for no reason? Yeah you’re an idiot
It was definitely exciting to watch, the problem is that shit like that completely destroys the principles of MMA. It's supposed to be a display of talent in martial arts, not a fuckin' gang war.

Russian here. Joe likes to say something like “those Russians are crazy”, maybe based on youtube and instagram clips, but the fact is, we aren’t. Dagestans on the other hand... I will not say that they are crazy, but if Joe says, “nobody should fuck with Russians, they don’t play like that”, then you should know that Russians generally don’t fuck with Dagestans. Dagestan is a part of Russia, but it is really self-contained. For them it goes family, then religion, then their land (order may vary from village to village or from family to family). They don’t really give a shit about law or Constitution, as far as I can see. It’s a warrior country. I believe about 80 or 90% of boys go to wrestling classes. If you check Russian national wrestling teams in Olympics - they are almost exclusively from Caucasus region, Dagestan, Chechnya or others. It’s the same in the MMA. Self-irony and taking things lightly is just not in their character. In general. And certain topics, you better not touch upon, like family and religion. Which Conor did of course.

We are all human beings, with feelings which can be hurt. We all have families who suffer with us also. We should try to treat others as we would like to be treated, unless we are masochists. Conor has increasingly became a caricature and is a terrible role model for younger, impressionable fans. I think that "success" went to his head and he lost the run of himself. I felt that he had this humiliating loss coming and he knew it too. I don't think he automatically deserves a rematch with Khabib. I doubt that deep down Conor really wants to go through that kind of mauling again. He was fighting for his life in the cage, but he feels that he must keep up the front. Please God Conor gets better and finds peace and turns his life around in recovery. Khabib is far more grounded and humble. Loved the video of him and his father's audience with President Putin. Shout out to Joe Rogan ☺ Celtic🐯?
Couldn´t agree more! I´m not Irish, but I was (still am) a huge fan of Conor, but he does make it harder to support him lately... The Bellator incident, the dolley, the trashtalking that crossed the line... I was really cringing during all of that... So crazy to think that he still behaves like this after he just got a son... I was kinda hoping that it would humble him a little but, but the fame/money got to his head I guess...
WTF :D :D You hurt my feelings :D :D Only dum person can think that Conor will act like this in real life why you just refusing to see the truth. It is just acting...In is entertainment and because of Conor not only because him fighters make more money and sport is popular. Dont try to blame him for bad society blame politics or us as ordinary people who does not give a shit. Khabib cant handle the pressure of mental war and that is what we saw after fight. He never experience it because bears cant tak shit :D :D
Nafen Esmael No he didn’t you idiot... He’s humble towards him because of the situation he is in life. He’s made millions, had one of the worst years of his life, he has 2 kids now, and is coming back to UFC for the love of the sport. There’s no need for him to talk trash or disrespect his opponent anymore, he’s grown from that and is a different person of himself. Just because he lost to khabib isn’t the reason he stop talking trash. He lost to nate diaz, and what did he do ? He kept on talking trash. With your logic he should have been humbled and stopped talking after his first loss with Diaz
Everyone seems to forget that Khabib and his team like bitches corned Conor's friend and slapped him around. That's what started it all. That's why Conor was next level with his shit talking cause he genuinely hates Khabib and for good reason. Cowboy on the other hand is a genuine cool dude who's a legend of the sport so Conor had no reason to talk shit to him. Besides you can't fucking humble McGregor. Right after the fight with cowboy he was calling out everyone.
TheReaperLord995 slapped him around? Khabib went to talk to him about shit Artem started talking, that was Artem’s own fault, and it has nothing to do with Conor. If Artem was so angry about getting padded in the back of his head he should’ve done something.
@@BerserkerJay237 "so Conor had no reason to talk shit to him" What about literally every opponent before him? Conor is the biggest shit talker in the UFC, suddenly meeting a "cool dude" shouldn't have changed that. What the other guy said about basically maturing up makes more sense
Excellent summary Joe Rogan. UFC benefits from it all, and then goes on a moralizing spree about Khabib. That's garbage. Also, Conor's antics are only acceptable SO LONG AS HE IS THE ONLY ONE DOING IT. If other UFC fighters began behaving like him the UFC brand would just completely devolve into trash.
Hey bs or not. He’s got that leverage. He’s the only fighter to bring in this much money for the industry. One fuckin man is doing this. Sounds the the real hustler here is the Irish. I’ll take a broken jaw for millions. Shit. I’ll take jaw reconstruction surgery. Probably come back looking better than before too. He may be unique in that sense. But he can become part of the many very very quickly if he’s not careful. Snatch all that money right up. No matter how many investments he tries to foresee.

Let's be real, khabib jumping the fence and his team behind him it was real and awsome.
UFC 229 was a very exciting but dark period of promotion within the UFC in general tbh, but I'm glad the fight did happen.
@@rahuloliapuram6030 You talk like you are holding an executive position at UFC or Dana's Personal Secretary. They should have thought of the consequences when they used the doly incidence to pro.ote the fight. And why on earth it is Khabib's responsibility to check who carries a gun. But then again, I don't expect much fro a McTapper apologist. And if you saw that video, again it was Con or who started the fight in the ring with Khabib's team first. What a loser.
@@mohammadrafiulhoque9183 You have no clue what happened that night and what the state athletic commission could have done to tighten restrictions on the ufc or better yet they could've sentenced Khabib off as well as his dumbass crew. There were riots happening inside the stadium and compromised a lot of people's safety, especially as fights started to break out. I'm sorry you don't understand the big business, but I'd advise you to back away from that topic for however long you remain ignorant. And ye, I've repeatedly condemned what Conor had done pre-fight, idk if you can read, but I've said/implied the ufc using the bus incident to promote the fight was immoral and hypocritical of Dana and the promotional team. Also I never said Khabib had to check everyone for guns wtf, are you stupid? I was implying that in the heat of the moment of the chaos at ufc 229 in vegas, if someone fired at whoever, that could've been a disaster, especially considering this was spilling out into Vegas. Also in this instance, mma is not about respect, this is about a bitter rivalry that Khabib instigated years ago, and now tries to be the victim of because he didn't get a title shot so then he ran his mouth on Conor, slapped and abused his close friend by cornering him with his team, and this all escalated into ufc 229. Not trying to condone conor's actions, but this mma is a respect sport thing is blown so far out of the water. Putting aside your gibberish that you probably got from a hobo about respect, who tf said I was a Conor apologist lmao, I legit just said I condoned neither fighter's actions in the build up or post-fight, lol you must not be able to read in between the lines or be completely illiterate. Also imagine calling Conor mctapper when you can't even step into an octagon and fight fucing swine LMAO. Also yeah, conor threw the first punch, but he wasn't the one to instigate that fight, let's be real here bud, this is on Khabib and his team
Here in México we saw his actions as totally justified. You cannot talk trash to people's family just because that's your job or because it's funny, but also, throwing shit at someone inside a vehicle and expecting not to get shot? Who do you think you are? Guy was way over his head, and he got off easy.
Dude shut up. No one was about to get shot after a ufc media event. This is why people laugh at Mexico as a country
Here in the USA we use common sense. The cartel isn’t running rampid and there aren’t drug scolding border hoppers left and right. The shit talk is a part of the fight.

Having your feelings bottled up and exploding does not justify putting others in danger. I am Irish and I felt all along that Conor's "trash talk" went way too far, and was too personal. I never found it funny and I am not prudish. If everyone in UFC was like Conor it would turn into WWE.
@Erik Nikolai the good old days? You mean no proper regulation dudes fighting with bare fists strippers blow and steroids being thrown around. Lmao if you actually know the history of the UFC it is barbaric.
@Erik Nikolai I understand. But Brock was also known for losing his cool. I'm pretty sure he completely destroyed a door after seeing a replay/interview of Frank Mir.
