There's no such thing as tiers in the US haha, these are just to show scores relative to each other. However, if you google "universities by GRE score", you should find universities that tend to accept students with certain GRE scores.

Since they expire in June 2024 and the application deadline is approx Dec 2023-Feb 2024, you should be fine.

Hi Ganesh, thanks! Yeah it might be worth it to retake and try to reach/cross 166. You still have time so it shouldn't take more than 4-6 weeks.
