Bro, i had EXACTLY, literally the same issue, a year ago i broke the left cover and lost some oil, then fixed it, and now, 1 year after my engine stopped, when I dissasembled, I found every single issue that you found, I am now waiting for all of my oil pump parts and a new cylinder since mine got damaged from all the metal shavings on the oil flying up with the crankshaft. 1200usd in parts here in argentina :(. Glad to see your video very helpful to assemble and to know Im not the only one hahahah.
Hello. The OEM parts are found in the OEM sections. I put together a video on how to order these parts. Here is a link, hope it helps th-cam.com/video/slOfGOMQshs/w-d-xo.html
Good video man. This is going to be super odd, but I noticed ball equipment sponsor on the radiator shorud. That's a Michigan based powersports store. I'm close to one. You guys don't have them in Florida as well do ya? Wonder if this bike used to be a michigan bike lol
Hello. I don't think we have that store down here. And the graphic kit was added by the owner down here un Florida. But he may have ordered it with them brand already on it?
@UpAllNight91 yeah possibly. It was just surprising to see the sponsor on there haha. My Buddy has a 2021 crf250r so this will be helpful when we need to tear into it. Thanks for the in depth videos brother 🤙
@@UpAllNight91 ok so u all ride sea level in Florida. Here in Nebraska we are up to 1700ft above sea level but give or take. I like verticals as all I ride is trails and plains . We have dozers to make table tops.. they belong to my old man .
@@stravis3269 ahh nice! So you have room and land to free ride. Here is Florida we have kinda gotten filled up and free riding areas are getting harder and harder to find. Everyone moved down here during covid lol
This video would of been super useful a few months ago when I did a 2018. No bottom end info for these bikes anywhere and had to buy a service manual. Same exact thing, my crank siezed tight, oil pump trashed except for one oil pump star, stripped gear, my counterbalancer was seized. FYI, there will be pounds of metal that collected in the little holes/fins in the flywheel. Clean it as best as you can, but it’ll take 4 oil changes before you stop seeing a good bit of metal in the oil.
Oh man. I think its kinda a bad design to have trash go right into the oil pump with no screen or anything to save the oil pump. Yeah it does get all into the stator and is hard to get out. I usually tell the owner they will see some left over debris in the filter for the first few changes.
@@UpAllNight91I have 161 on my 21 which is basically the same bike I’m hoping to get atleast another 20 hrs out of it. I changed the oil and air filter almost every ride the whole bikes life
@@Dclasagoon If its running well and its not been beat on too hard for its life it should make it another 20 hours but at 161 hours I would try to fit in a top end as soon as I can just for peace of mind.
Just in the nik of time lol. Knowledge after knowledge. Only thing I noticed was you put the back washer of the black chain guide on the tan one. When they went to dual cams why did they move the cam chain over to the other side? Looks like such a pain to have to remove the clutch to do the cam chain.

Honestly don't know and the hour meter is not working but if I had to guess this bike has maybe 150 to 200 hours easy. The teen that rides it owns a few of them and he puts on lots of hours. This poor bike has already been salvaged from being on fire lol (burnt down to almost just a frame) Shes been through hell and back lol

I don't know why they went to that side for the chain. KTM does it like that too. I'm not a fan of it being on that side.
