Hi motorcycle fixer I've got a problem with a stomp 125cc it makes a grinding noise in 3d gear I've taken it a part everything looks okay but I can't find neutral when I've put the bottom end back together any ideas please

Hi Above the sprocket there is a rubber bung or the neutral switch depending on bike Take that out and there's a bolt under there that holds the drum in
I have a zonger 125 primary clutch motor in a monkey, it hasn’t done many miles runs strong but im getting false neutrals higher up gear do you think it could be the selected arm not engaging releasing? Appreciate without seeing, but looking around it seems like a common fault.. any help appreciated
HI You can just replace the second gear after you take the shafts out although i'm sure they don't sell separate gears. you have to buy the whole cluster

Hi can you take a look at my z155 engine, I'm in South Wales, gearbox is fine so is selector drum after the main drive sprocket snapped just from me kicking the bike without 3 small push downs on the kick-start, changed it all over as I have a spare engine so won't need parts or anything like that just the gear selector won't go into gear once engine was rebuilt. I'm based in Treorchy but can bring engine to you if possible
@@motorcyclefixer thank you sooooo much for getting back to me, its really something stupid like a sim out here or a washer put into a place it don't belong lol I took the clutch off and turn that shaft with my hand I can go right up through all gears and back down, but then it happens again once iver rebuilt the engine the clutch leaver for your foot will only click up and down once then there's no gears either way. I have 2 of everything as I have a spare engine in bits with another brand new selector drum with forks. I can bring all my other engine which is broken down into parts so it just be your expertise and labour if thats ok. I just want it running and to know where I went wrong as top end of engine can do anything but I'm not good with bottom ends. Where abouts do I come to my friend? Again really appreciate you doing this

Hi mate my pit bikes 2nd gear is just like a neutral gear you have to go up to 3rd to keep riding what would you recommend to do and any idea the problem in the box
If there's no second, the gear teeth are probably destroyed, although it's impossible to say without looking at it. I would change the gear cluster, but if you're unable to do that you can buy a complete bottom end
Need help av watched heaps o videos 4 days av been at a yx125 engine my problem started when I flooded engine with to much oil I drained oil and took engine apart to change oil seals now my engine won’t kick or change gears iv watched this video about 20 times it hasn’t helped 1 bit how does the gear cluster go together your engine has bits my engine doesn’t and iv got bits inside you don’t
It's a different engine to this one then obviously It's very difficult to help without looking at it I'm afraid There is a haynes stomp pitbike manual that covers that engine I think it would be a good investment for you. It has lots of diagrams in there of how it should go
@@motorcyclefixer yea iv tried the stomp book diagrams to no sign of a 3 mil thick washer behind my clutch there’s a wheel behind that there’s a lever that’s attached to gears lever that part keep disengaging looks like it keep gettin jammed or the gear cluster is gettin jammed .. should there be a 3mil thick washer on the gear cluster

No sorry, I mean the kick start shaft no the gear selector. Is there a washer that goes on the kick start shaft before you slot into casing?

If it's a false neutral higher up the gears then chances are it's a worn drum or change fork not fully engaging the gears
How is about timing? I need rebuild 110cc kayo quad. I just afraid lose timing. I mean how going chain to valves

Can you just take the second gear cog off the shaft or have you got to replace the whole shaft. I got horrible grinding my in second gear

If it was on there when you took it apart and it was working then that's how it has to go back
