I'm z HUGE lifetime Dodger fan. I'm also a huge baseball fan. I've enjoyed watching Charlie Blackmon's career. A very underrated player, exciting player, and one of the all-time great Rockies. Thanks Charlie! Go Dodgers!

Charlie Blackmon showed that the players take more pride in putting on the uniform than the owners of the Rockies (Monfort Brothers, Alvarado etc.) do in putting a winning team on the field.
Thankyou Shohei for an all time great season 🐐 50-50 and dozens of records set and almost a triple crown. A Dodgers title would be the cherry on the cake.
He set more than a couple, but mostly insignificant or obscure records. For example, he got the most rbis, most steals, and most homeruns by a Japanese player. He also tied the most homeruns by a player in his first year after switching teams. Not the most important stats, but it's something
Not Judge whose war was 10.8. But Shohei got 50/50 which is amazing. Also he led off for more than half the season. He'd have a lot more RBI if he was batting third or fourth.
Shohei's WAR as a DH of 9.2 leads the NL. As to MLB, I believe Judge and Witt Jr. had higher WAR in the AL. What's impressive is Shohei's 9.2 WAR as a DH is really high despite penalty for not fielding.
2007 Rockies draft signing Chuck Nuzzi (Charles Blackmon) ended his 17-year active career with the franchise team today. He was a great player who also won the 2017 National League batting title. Shohei Ohtani unfortunately missed out on the Triple Crown, but finished the regular season with an unprecedented 54-59 record, including 59 stolen bases. To the Dodgers and the 30 teams, thank you for your hard work during the regular season. Braves and Mets, please try a little harder! LOL
I wanted Shohei to hit HR #55, get #1spot in batting average but I'm glad he has done what he has done this season and more than anything, he was injury free for an entire season.
Anyone who has watched this season play out, with all the injuries (Mookie & Muncy gone for months, all but one of their original starters done for the year), and to see them again with the best record in the majors, can't seriously believe that Dave Roberts is a bad manager.
