So neat an tidy, no dust or cobwebs. The ceiling in the bedroom has fallen but there’s no plaster on the bed or the floor. It’s like someone cleaned up awaiting your arrival. Strange! Very nice old home.
And ........ your point. The doors were open or they got permission mabey????? And if the doors were open obviously no one is watching over it or it would have been locked
A wonderful stroll through a completely different era. What a rare thing to see it in its pristine state, no vandalism or harm has visited it, except what would naturally occur over time when a house is empty for so long. Plenty of room for a larger family to grow and thrive !! I love how the older generation took pride in having their wall graced with portraits of relatives who went on before, teaching the children to respect and honor their ancestors. I always hope when looking into a kitchen of a century home that it hasn't changed much and this one didn't disappoint. Other than a more efficient stove it remained much the same as when it was built, even the cabinets are original. It must have been a room full of activity with a big family gathering to eat meals !!! Thank you so much for braving the frigid temperatures to film this, what a treasure !!!
Wow! What a beautiful home and great explore! I sure hope someone saves it from any further deterioration. You can just feel the warmth of this family by all the old photos and belongings. They really kept their home nice. With all the bedrooms I could imagine a house full of children growing up there. Thanks for sharing.
When you showed side & back of house, Wow, house is massive. Just surprised been abandoned & so clean. Re the piano, reminds me of song, 'If I can turn back time', & Yeah, still plays.. With so much left, just saddens me, think they migh have passed..
What a beautiful and amazing home, and in such good condition! 6:38 and 6:56 those pocket-shade chandeliers are worth a small fortune! I hope someone saves them before they get ruined. 10:30 that is an oil lamp bracket.
Someone is apparently checking on the house no dust or cobwebs or critter droppings or nuts or chewed items and the bedroom where the ceiling only showed the lathe the plaster wasn't all over the bed or floor just dryer sheets it looked like to repell bugs even wood items looked like they were just dusted some people inherit a house and don't want to part with it but like to live in a newer house or family still in legal battle with other family members over the house or they grew up there and after the family member passed they have a hard time going back to the house a friend of mine inherited a house from 1800's and lived there and raised her family there and when her husband passed she didn't want to part with it but didn't want to live alone in the big house so it sat empty for many years and when she passed I heard a grandson finally decided to live in it but had issues with other grandkids wanting it then last I heard daughter said she rather leave it empty than to see family arguing over it. But nice house it looks fixable but hopefully sometime soon it finds a new family to have memories with.
I showed my mom this video, she is 92 years old and she said, "I wish you can buy that for me because she loves these kind of furniture". That is a good buy and everything is still there, amazing.
i do not know for certain but the hardware off the parlor in the small room, i use mine as a plant holder, the pot fits into the ring and can swivel for sunlight. thanks for the share. it is a true time capsul. roger
I have one in my kitchen that I bought last year. I use the work surface all the time and it is filled with all my baking supplies. Mine has the flour bin as well. The one in the kitchen seems to have never had one, it is all original. The cupboard on the bottom looks like mine though with the wire holder...
At 12:22, it's interesting they have the riding of St. Paul's in Toronto. I see mayor Mel Lastman as mayor. Interesting, since it's a rural house.. Also, the house is absolutely gorgeous. What a time capsule! It makes one wonder why they seemingly just up and left and left all their personal belongings, photos etc
Very nice old house! Nice to see it in its original condition! Some of those furniture pieces remind me of my late grandparents farmhouse! That older RCA TV dates from 1968-70 Vintage! Good how you respect the premises and contents too, others could definitely learn from you! Be a shame to see it let go ,be great to see it restored to its former glory, also be great to see it in the warm months. Btw that dining table in the kitchen was very common in the older houses, even here in Australia, a separate dining room was virtually unheard of unless the house was very large and opulent. Enjoyed the explore, great job Owen! Keep warm mate!
The photos of their family were fabulous! I collect antique photos and have about 4,000 of them. The ones in this house are Victorian and date from around the mid 1800's to about 1900, so they range from 125-175 years old. This explore was my favorite of all you've done.
Beautiful furniture and that piano!! I'm agreeing with everyone else. Someone is cleaning it. That bathroom sink and tub were still very white for being abandoned 24 years. Great tour!!
I couldn't get a good look at one of the framed pictures on that stunning sideboard but I think it might have been a wreath made from a deceased persons hair, which was a thing common to victorian era. Some of the furniture in that house would really be valuable, like that piano. If you could try to show the name on things like that piano we can research it online and see it's current value. What an amazing house!!
Thanks for sharing this video of this old Abandoned time capsule house frozen in time it was a really nice home and i really enjoyed this video. i gave you a thumbs up and shared you out on my community tab my friend and God Bless.
Fantastic tour! I'd buy the home just for the furniture and collectibles! We have a similar cupboard in our kitchen that still has the flour sifter. Called a Kitchener cupboard here but in the states known as a Hoosier. Definitely sharing this time capsule ❤
What a fabulous find/house. It seems nobody is left of the original owner's family to pick-up this obviously, once-loved home. How unfortunate, a younger family member could have been the "type" of person to renovate and restore such history. So far no glassy-eyed waddling, dollar-in-their-eyes contractor, seems to have found this very, very filled with wonderful antiques, home, yet!
In it's day, this would have been a lovely home. Someone must be taking care of it, there's hardly any dust or mess from the parts that have fallen. Absolutely heart breaking that all those antiques are left to decay. Creepy basement 😳 Thank you for sharing.
@marigold7506. It is a lovely old home and it certainly appears that someone is maintaining it. I”l never understand why people find basements creepy. The stonework in the basement is beautiful. It’s a large, well maintained room. It also gives the house a solid foundation.
I call those farmhouses Chronology homes. I would date some of the furnishings back to the 1890's. the house has been adapted over time. The descendants must still be care taking it, although it will not last much longer if the roof is failing. You are right, time travel says it all.
Wow, what a fixer-upper. IF someoene would put the expense out to do a complete "face lift" to this place, it would be great. When I see those old pictures, I get a feeling of the spirits who may have lived there in past years and the energy of their daily life. Would like to see if they can find and send those old pictures to a family that is linked to them, they would be a treasure.
6:55 that’s a square piano, so called. Its design predates the piano we’re all familiar with today. They’re quite rare and collectible when in good shape.
You can tell this home was loved. It's sad seeing it just sitting and family has done nothing. Somebody definitely is paying taxes on this home. How sad. It's like you die and nobody even cares.
Seems mighty tidy for a house that hasn’t been lived in for 25 years someone is obviously coming around and keeping it clean otherwise there would be signs of mold
I wonder why they left? Couple seemed elderly, I wonder if they had no surviving family and they simply decided to go off for the last remaining time together.
wow whos doing the house keeping no dust cobwebs or very little nothing for 20 some years abandoned .. I would say portaits behind the piano proved they are not recreations 1800s maybe but I would bet they are lithos of old Photos I would be willing to bet based on the TV in the living area this house went abandoned about 2010 or 11 and judging by the lack of dust and decay some one takes car of this every few months keeps it up and clean ..
WOW LOOK AT THOSE DOORS . They would cost a lot of money these days WHY is nothing dusty and no mold . The ghost must be a neat freak Milk glass door knobs worth a fortune to a restorer I looked at every table top no dust the white holder is for a kerosene lamp . There were several in our old farm house in Amish country in PA
this makes me wonder the way it is if it was nt like someone second home they used maybe in the summer a closed up for winters and one year just never returned thing are so nicely cared for apears toilet had antifreeze in them guess that could be what the bottles covering them had in them . you know like snowbirds or something ..
Since you are in the hinterlands of Ontario...pretty soon you will be needing snow shoes to get around...dog sledding too???.....those old pictures look like a photo album i have that has been handed down........stay warm up there....photos maybe dated around 1900 or before
Those are some old imperial shot gun shells, at least the box. Someone has been cleaning it or the ceilings would still be on the floor where they fell in.
I will bet this is a great granparents homestead house...someone is coming in to clean it as a respect to the gran or rgreat granoarents. Old european immigrants ill bet!! I saw a newush vaccune cleaner. Behind the door of the TV ROOM. U CAN SEE ITS BEEN DUSTED. NO VANDALISIM LIKELY BEING WATCHED. BY RELATIVES. FAMILY IS HONORING TGE OLD PPL I THINK
I would love to see you get caught by the owners of this home! And if you had permission to be in there you would know the history of the house! You guys are lame as fuck !!
So neat an tidy, no dust or cobwebs. The ceiling in the bedroom has fallen but there’s no plaster on the bed or the floor. It’s like someone cleaned up awaiting your arrival. Strange! Very nice old home.
My thoughts exactly 👍🏻 not to mention are those fabric dryer sheets all over every single mattress he didn’t even bat an eyelash at it
I agree, a family member must be doing the up keep cleaning on it. To clean to be just abandoned. ❤️ It. They had the bucks you can tell.
Did you ever Stop to think maybe someone takes care of the property since it's so clean and the Family hasn't decided what to do with it yet??!!
And ........ your point. The doors were open or they got permission mabey????? And if the doors were open obviously no one is watching over it or it would have been locked
So beautiful. It's so clean. Hardly any cobwebs, Hardly any dust
This place is being maintained. Too neat and tidy.
Someone is keeping it clean. No plastor on the floor
The place is like a museum like someone is caring for it
It’s beautiful and so clean. I’d love to live there.
That holder was for a oil lamp
They took pride in their family history.. I respect that ❤ but sad to see in an abandoned house 🏡😢

I love when you have places like this for us too see. Also you have an excellent narration calm voice that is above all other's. 😊
I’m glad you enjoyed the tour!
Owen, you did a great job. I like how you filmed going thru the trees coming upon the house. So cool! Thank you.
What a great old house! All of the old details left as well as the furniture! So cool!
When you showed side & back of house, Wow, house is massive. Just surprised been abandoned & so clean. Re the piano, reminds me of song, 'If I can turn back time', & Yeah, still plays.. With so much left, just saddens me, think they migh have passed..
Wow. What a darling house. Loved it!😊 Someone is keeping it pretty clean. I hope someone takes this over as their home!
Incroyable maison et incroyable visite !
Merci pour ce voyage dans le temps ! 😊
Such a shame that the house is just being left to the elements. So many antiques I would love to have.
This home is phenomenal. I love it. Thank you for showing this place
It really is in pretty good shape considering it's been abandoned for nearly a quarter of a century! Thank you for a great explore!
I think so too! It’s fascinating how the house has stayed in such good condition.
What a beautiful and amazing home, and in such good condition!
6:38 and 6:56 those pocket-shade chandeliers are worth a small fortune! I hope someone saves them before they get ruined.
10:30 that is an oil lamp bracket.

The family probably wants to live for free in it.
I showed my mom this video, she is 92 years old and she said, "I wish you can buy that for me because she loves these kind of furniture". That is a good buy and everything is still there, amazing.
This house is beautiful!! I hope someone will fix it up. Love the wood trim and windows. Great old photos. Awesome find! Thanks for sharing 🥰
Beautiful home. Really love this one. The photos were over 100 yrs old. Someone is keeping it clean. Thank you for the video..
i do not know for certain but the hardware off the parlor in the small room, i use mine as a plant holder, the pot fits into the ring and can swivel for sunlight. thanks for the share. it is a true time capsul. roger
I love this house...especially the upstairs! My house was built in 1870. The basement is the same as mine!
WOW she’s a beauty! I hate too see these beautiful old homes abandoned! Hope someone buy’s it & fix’s her up! Awesome video bro as always! 👍👍❤️✊🤘
I believe that cabinet in the kitchen is called a hoosier. My aunt had a white one with a pull out work surface and flour bin.
I have one in my kitchen that I bought last year. I use the work surface all the time and it is filled with all my baking supplies. Mine has the flour bin as well. The one in the kitchen seems to have never had one, it is all original. The cupboard on the bottom looks like mine though with the wire holder...

45-50s style TV, that break down, then roll in the 2000 TV on top 😂❤

I just reallylove the kitchen so big and cozy. Imagine bread cooking and family gatherings, fun cooking in the kitchen
Fantastic tour! I'd buy the home just for the furniture and collectibles!

A sitting room ❤ and a front parlor family room, with a extra bedroom ❤
That's weird the place stays so clean it is an awesome 😎💯 find
I believe it is a curtain tie back. Beside the window.😊
Good afternoon 🌅 blessings 🫶🏾🙏🏾, amazing
This place is amazing, considering it has been abandoned for so many years.❤
that house would make a nice little bed and breakfast, lol
Beautiful house....too bad you didn't have the history of this house

Hello URBEX ONTARIO another good video from you ❤
Thanks for the support!
@ yVW
Candle holder by the window 🤍
I love old houses like that so sad nobody is doing anything with it !

Was the wallpaper upstairs that pealed off been removed and the plaster falling cleaned up?
I wish the antiques could be bought and resold or donated! It's such a waist to leave them to the elements!
6:55 that’s a square piano, so called. Its design predates the piano we’re all familiar with today. They’re quite rare and collectible when in good shape.

Are you certain nobody owns it?? Its cared for.
The neighbours maintain the property but nobody has been inside.
I wonder why they left? Couple seemed elderly, I wonder if they had no surviving family and they simply decided to go off for the last remaining time together.
It might not be abandoned. Seems to me someone comes from time to time and cleans it.
I don't think it's abandoned either!
No dust, fairly clean floors…. Too clean to be abandoned
The ghosts are keeping the house nice and clean!
wow whos doing the house keeping no dust cobwebs or very little nothing for 20 some years abandoned .. I would say portaits behind the piano proved they are not recreations 1800s

What a amazing consider anyone save this house to change history of this house and it pretty good shape
That is a Hoosier Cabinet! The drawers would've held flour & tools for making bread. The porcelain top served as the counter to roll out the Dough🍞
Where is the house? I swear I've seen it. Looks so familiar. Love to buy it and fix it up. To beautiful to let fall apart
HERMOSO TODO
Beauty 😍!!!
Come on the possessions hold historic value. The should at least be returned to relatives or actioned. Hope they are not destroyed.
It needs to be saved for sure
I also believe someone keeps it up a bit
It's so clean
The basement looks creepy
this makes me wonder the way it is if it was nt like someone second home they used maybe in the summer a closed up for winters and one year just never returned thing are so nicely cared for apears toilet had antifreeze in them guess that could be what the bottles covering them had in them . you know like snowbirds or something ..
2001? The place isn't even dusty
Someone should try locate the family and keep remaining photos and other stuff
Oil lamp holder.
That’s what I thought! Thanks for the info
Since you are in the hinterlands of Ontario...pretty soon you will be needing snow shoes to get around...dog sledding too???.....those old pictures look like a photo album i have that has been handed down........stay warm up there....photos maybe dated around 1900 or before
If that's been abandoned for 20 years someone is going in to clean it !?!?!
He may very well know that someone is taking care of the property and has contacted them . He is just not making that known to us .
Those are some old imperial shot gun shells, at least the box. Someone has been cleaning it or the ceilings would still be on the floor where they fell in.
Maybe they left in a hurry and never returned because the place was haunted.
2001.... this home looks like 2 houses put together. From outside
I THINK A FAM8LY
Why did they just leave? And leave everything behind? Strange!
I spotted dryer sheets on some of the chairs, someone cares.
Kitchen cab is worth alot of $$$$
Did you do this while your grandparents were at church!
A spindle 🧶
great video, horrible dialog... a well maintained time capsule...
Plant holder 🪴
Maybe a doorbell
Are you trespassing?
RE7 going on lol
