A great explore Owen! I love your attention to the small details on a house of this age, especially the glass around the windows and that stained glass window on its own! I’m with you I can’t stand people who simply go in and trash these houses! Sadly I think it’s too far gone to save now! Take care when going in mouldy areas remember your health is first priority! Nice work and Thank You!
Beautiful house! I can just picture what it looked like when it was original. I wouldn't have put on the addition. That window and wood on the stair landing should definitely be saved! Nice job, thanks for sharing.
It really does make me sad how these JERKS will come into a home and just DESTROY the property just to DESTROY it!!!! I hope the Developers, or whoever, will take the Doors and Trim out, and take the Stained Glass out also. I have a suggestion, you know some of the places you've visited about a year or two ago?! You should revisit the land and see what was put in the Homes Place!!!! Just a thought.
greetings owen, the 2 doors that were near the stair case were hinged, a upper crust home they would be " pocket " doors so you would have room or privacy. the upstairs red / black room had a gorgeous wall sconce. the black trim was possibly painted that way so wall paper would be the edge. i agree the doors, rim windows et all should be saved, do you have a habitat for humanity there or perhaps an architectural salvage? the owners could donate items and take a tax write off and preserve history. also would a museum want to take / salvage anything like that? chico calif just lost bidwell mansion ( 1865-69) to arson, i am sure the state parks and preservation society would love old items. thanks for the share best roger

I don't like it either whenever the oder homes get demolished because they didn't make them like they used to and they are unique.
When they tear it down, really should wear masks! It’s sad that a house so beautiful should be torn down!
That had to be a little girl's room ❤ just saying with the multi colors. Sesame Street vibes ❤

The barn looks like semi trucks were driven in for service, maybe the property served as a trucking company yard?
Red room walls 2x2 ft rubber pieces .. floor ing
It’s a shame they are tearing it down could be restored
It cost alot of money to board up all of the house. We have to do it all the time when there's hurricanes.
20's and/ or 30's style ❤ ... perhaps dates back 18th.
It would be a nice club house
A hanger???? For something massive
What's up owen
❤ it
That looks like Alliston Ontario
Knock it down and build houses people can't afford.
