SO glad yall were able to get Sam on!! This is what i was most excited for out of everything SEC media days has to offer! Thanks cousins mike and shane!
@@thegardenhutch5833we’re only negative because our team doesn’t give us anything to be positive about. “Hurrah we lost by 7 points this week! Yay we didn’t get blown out!!” I hate fans who are ok with moral victories. For once, I’d like us to actually be as good as our record shows.
Guys, listen to Sam’s last comment over and over. He is dead on right….you guys are good at what you do!!! Great interview with good ol’ Sam. That’s a good man, indeed.
@@2xxNorMacKxx2 hell we ain’t Texas, Alabama, Notre Dame, USC, Ohio State……give him a decent chance with room for mistakes. Everyone’s ready to fire him as if we’ve got a great coach waiting to be let in and hired. 12-11 first 2 seasons with another coach’s players and stumbled in year 3 and still finished 6-6. last year was the only reasonable bad year, and he had an OC who was more worried about arguing via e-mail with students than calling a decent game. What’s he’s done to bring us from the hellhole we were in especially in recruiting to now he deserves a longer fuse. When we had nobody that would come take over the mess Chad Morris left us in and we exhausted our search list……Sam Pittman stepped in the fire.🔥
@@coysimpson1557you make it sound like it takes a Bama or texas level team to learn how to win easy games?!! Give him a chance?? It’s year 5! And he STILL doesn’t know how to win winnable games. Good teams can consistently win the winnable games. You don’t see Ohio state or Bama or georgia consistently finishing with 5 losses because they know how to win. It shouldn’t be unreasonable to expect a 5th year coach to field a team that doesn’t effing quit halfway through a game or season. A 5th year coach even WITH the crapshow called Enos shouldn’t have lost 7-3 to miss state. You say last year was his one bad year?? Literally EVERY year he’s been here, we have left multiple wins on the field. Last year being the biggest. Hell, we held the secs best to one possession losses. Yet we couldn’t beat auburn or miss state?!? There’s 0 logic there. Sam needs to drop the nice guy persona and get pissed. His niceness and softness has cost us more than a few games.
@@2xxNorMacKxx2 I like Sam as our coach especially with what he walked into and what he’s done with the crumbs that were left over. He had us in winnable position against tough teams, great teams really BECAUSE he’s a good coach. He just didn’t finish them off. I don’t feel like the mass fall out of transfers and decommits if he gets fired is going to be worth it. Are the new commits or transfers going to be better than what we’ve got or are going to have? Sam’s been using majority players who’s final 5 schools when they committed to Arkansas had the other 4 Texas Tech, SMU, TCU, Baylor, Louisiana Tech, Memphis etc. Now we’re in battles for the big boys. #1RB Cedric Baxter went to Texas we were in the final 5. 5 ⭐️ Safety KJ Bolden signed with Georgia we were in the top 5. If we fire Sam this year if he goes 6-6 again……..do we have somebody ready to come in and win 7-8 games in year 1 or something that I don’t know about???? I brought up Bama, Texas and Ohio State because those level school are the ones who can have those high expectations and not look stupid. They are flooded with blue chip recruits and transfers always want to go there. Those places are coach’s dream schools not us….not Arkansas.
@@coysimpson1557so all I’m hearing from you is because no one else wants the job, that means we have to be happy with 4-6 wins every single year. Yea no thanks. He had us in winnable positions is just a fancy way of saying we were close but still lost. And like I said. If we were so good then why didn’t we beat the crappy teams?? If he had a couple close losses to great teams then that’s one thing. But how many have we had?? Why? Why can’t he seem to get the job done? Everyone just assumes if you switch coaches, it means 10 years of crap. That’s bull. Look at Missouri and ole miss and some of these other teams who hired a coach around the same time Pittman was hired. They’re going great! Why cant we? Don’t give me the “we don’t produce enough talent” argument. Arkansas has plenty of talent and enough to get the hogs to at least 6 wins. But no matter what, we still F it up. If we did fire him, absolutely noone will expect the new guy to win 8 games right away. That’s stupid and you know it. But come on. Year 4 and you can’t manage one td against miss state, probably the one sec team worse than us? Year 4 and you let a mediocre auburn team treat you like they’re a title contender? Year 4 and you can’t get your group of players to play hard for an entire game or season? I’d say that’s more than enough evidence to fire him. I don’t have high expectations for Arkansas. My expectations are to win the winnable games, improve through the season, and not embarrass the fans. If you think those are unrealistic expectations that only the Texas’s and Bamas should have then that mindset is what is keeping us where we are. Like everyone, I like Pittman. I want him to stay. But he has a job to do and he’s failing. He has ALOT of trust and support to earn back
Sam Pittman is entering his 5th season and his team is predicted to finish near the bottom of the league. It's a joke that he still has a job. He acts like he doesn't have a care in the world because he's collecting $6 million dollars a year for doing practically nothing. They even had to bring back the disgraced ex-coach in Petrino to help him do his job because he's incompetent. All the media and a lot of fans talk about is that he seems like such a nice guy.
Who doesn’t love Sam? Such a good man.
I love Sam, I really hope he finds success, he wants to be a hog. He loves Arkansas and loves the hogs. Appreciate the content as always fellas
Too bad “wanting to be a hog” and “loves Arkansas” doesn’t translate to wins.
SO glad yall were able to get Sam on!! This is what i was most excited for out of everything SEC media days has to offer! Thanks cousins mike and shane!
Was looking forward to this. Gotta love Pittman, really hoping they Hogs can surprise some folks this year. #WPS!
You’re setting yourself up for disappointment again …

We are gonna surprise so many folks y’all. I’m so happy we still have Coach P!
Bobby Petrine is the 🐐
We ain’t surprising anyone when we finish 4-8 again
Sam Pittman is Awesome!!!! I Love that guy!!!! Let’s go this year Coach!!!! I want you as our coach till you want to retire!!!! WPS!!!!!!
Incredible interview, miss Sam in Knoxville. Great work guys.
Interview had me legit laughing out loud at points. Awesome stuff
Sam & BobbyMFP will definitely surprise the SEC. Book it
This guy is so chill. What a down to earth dude. Wishing him the best this upcoming season

I’d rather him be a good coach…
Texas fan. Sam is a good guy.
As an Aggie, i really like this guy. Much respect!
No y’all don’t. You like him because us keeping him just gives y’all an easy win over us. We suck so bad
Really good dude. I hope Arkansas does well.
I’m a Mizzou fan but I love Sam Pittman. MIZ
Hard not to.
ZOU
I'm getting to be a old SOB. That doesn't like very many people. But I really like this dude.
Love this man and the Razorbacks. Fun interview guys great job!
Love that guy. Hope he goes 11-1 this season
Lol texas has a better shot at going 1-11 than we do of 11-1
Absolute gold
Solid!!!
Funny! 😂👍
I'm betting Bobby P. is working hard behind the scenes.
All that Sam says Green is , is the opposite of what he had last year.
