As far as I remember, the Royal family doesn't reside in the Gudaibiya palace but uses it for official occasions and visits from dignitaries. The mostly use and reside in the Riffa palace, Safriya and/or the Sakhir palace mostly.

I live in Bahrain since 2009, I am an expat here from the Philippines, The Royal Family is very humble and generous to its people. Yes, that's true they own 30% of Mclaren. I even shook the hands of the crown prince when he attended the Mclaren event! He was very humble and kind enough to shake the hands of a commoner like me. I love Bahrain this is my second home! A lot of mis info! Khalifa's are originally Saudian Kuwaiti, that is why they are very close to Saudi rulers as well. Some stuff are incorrect and less infos about real history of how the Khalifa started ruling.

And the he-goat became exceeding great; but when he was become strong, the great horn was broken; and in its stead came up four notable ones toward the four winds of the heavens. And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which became exceeding great, toward the South, and toward the East, and toward the beauty [of the earth]." Amen! You see?
29 This beast is the evangelical movement and who is that catholic who can stand before this beast? Who is that Methodist, Lutheran or Nazarene who can stand before this movement in front of which are giants like Tommy Osborn, Benny Hinn, Reinhard Bonnke, Morris Cerrulo, Yongi Cho, Watchman Nee, Billy Graham… and those are the transgressors who come to the full before the face of the Almighty God. [Ed: The congregation says, "Amen!"].
30 And I heard that in a stadium, the anointing was so powerful upon Morris Cerrulo that they could not approach him in a radius of about five meters. And it was said of one of them that because he was seated in a plane, the anointing of conviction of sin came down and several sinners who were in the cities above which the plane passed repented from their sins. You see? Men repented from their sins but I tell you that these are tricks of Satan and these are demonic anointings. [Ed: The congregation says, "Amen!"]. And neither before, nor after the Lord, an empire even a heathen one, had so much influence on the humanity. And the Bible says that the dominion was given to it and in reality, this dominion was never taken away from it outside of the face of the fourth beast which is Branhamism!
31 As for this fourth beast without wing and name, it had no influence except its eyes on its horn and its iron teeth to break any catholic, protestant or evangelical who would fall in its hands and the Bible says that it had nails of brass. And that is what the Branhamists are! You see? Daniel 7:23 says, "He said thus: The fourth beast shall be a fourth kingdom upon the earth, which shall be different from all the kingdoms...". And the Branhamism, this fourth beast had certainly iron teeth and mouth which spoke great things but the Bible says nowhere that the Branhamist empire will have some influence in front of the first three beasts which are catholic church, Protestantism and the whole of the evangelical churches. And what are feet of iron and clay before thighs of brass? And what is remarkable, the Bible says that this nameless fourth beast did not stand for long when suddenly the white stone smote it and broke it without a hand. [Ed: The congregation says, "Amen!"].

3 Brethren, when a prophet is dead, God can never remain there watching the disorders of men. Salvation is only through a living prophet messenger on earth.
