As a 41 year old woman, I loved your comment about embracing one's lines and the different seasons of life. Just take Sophie of Edinburgh as an example. She looks so much interesting as a woman and sexier now than some 20 years ago.

I don’t even think the dress is as huge as she was not invited, walked a red carpet, then ran to be in Kelly’s picture. She couldn’t let her ‘friend’ (whom she got the info from about the time and where the event was being held) have her own moment and then clung to her with the two armed grip she used on Harry. She had to be escorted out a side door. She could have been neat as a pin and her behavior and rudeness make it an outrageous thing to do.

I often think people who repeatedly do this kind of stuff do not have people who genuinely like or love them in their orbit...you look Fabulous as always!! I look at it this way: some people, including a couple of close friends of mine, will never get to experience the late spring and winter seasons due to premature death - one from cancer, one from suicide. Assuming one is compus mentus and still able-bodied enough to enjoy their senior years, who cares what you look like. Aging is a privilege.

I hadn't heard of Christopher's passing away. I grew up in Rochester Mi & she was a year younger than me. , they went to St. Andrews Catholic school & we went to St.John Lutheran - shared the bus.
I talked to Christopher on that ancient website MySpace back in the day. He was a nice man taking time to do that. This was after his book was published. She did put him through hell & treated him like "the help". And he put up with it on her way to more fame. It makes it a lot more peaceful to get over these slights & he was quite a man to allow that to happen. To take care of him in his final time was the least she could do. Godspeed, Christopher. 🕊

I can tell she has extensions because her head looks flat on top but bulks on the upper sides, where the extensions are attached.
We can all tell because she has naturally black textured hair and that type no matter how much you flat iron it, it still has a kink to it. Meghan’s “hair” on the other hand, looks European. It’s not her hair.
MM’s hair looks like it hasn’t been washed for more than a week and it’s an oily mess .
She also wore a wig! Full head of fake hair to match her fake bronzed face, fake smile, fake caring, faker invite! 🤣🤣
Not a fan of wet or mermaid hair looks. Inevitably by the time it gets to the red carpet, it looks unkempt and raggedy. Very few can pull it off. Meh Meh is not one of them imo.
Also in many of the photos of her in side view, you can see her natural hair which is barely below her chin. Then the wig, fall, weave, clip on, sew in or whatever is attached without much blending. It's awful.
Christopher was so handsome. I’m so glad they made peace with one another. I am a Madonna fanatic. I’ve seen every tour except The Virgin Tour and The Girlie Show. I saw her MDNA tour, front row and center right below her mic stand. I wore all black with a beret like her and the dancers. She pointed at me and said “Are you copying our hats?”
“Yes!” I replied.

I missed the Virgin Tour because it was on a school night, an hour away, and 40 dollars I couldn’t afford at the time.

Hi River, I loved your comments on aging skin, since I was a small child I loved old faces, maybe because of seeing several elderly relatives regularly. My grandad died when I was 10 and he was 97. He had stories of life written all over his face, with a mop of unruly white hair.
I sometimes compliment elderly people and my compliments are very sincere. I was once in Clitheroe on a sunny hot day and along came a very elderly lady with her granddaughter or niece. She wore a beautiful pleated raspberry coloured skirt, with a beautiful blouse and jewellery. I said to her, you look beautiful, the best dressed lady in Clitheroe. I’m sure she must have been pleased, as often the elderly are treated as invisible.
Keep up the wearing of gorgeous outfits, colour co-ordinated tiaras and eye shadow. Love your videos, humour and your ‘ticking off’ of the occasional person, who oversteps the mark.

I am 62 + do not dye my hair. The "grey" is in big stripes - and suits my coloring (which is olive). Puple shampoo helps keep the grey stripes from "yellowing."

Dear River, thank you for covering Christopher Ciccone’s death in such a wonderful solemn way. My own brother had gifted me a copy of his book; judging from his writing, I am almost certain that Chris would have enjoyed your eulogy. Chris had managed to cover a lot of things well in that book, my appreciation for his ‘voice’ and his ‘little stories’ has gone up significantly since then (as I have read similar but badly written books). If William and Catherine slightly recoiled when they first met the Meg, I surmise that it would have been due to the Meg lunging forward for a full body hug, including the lower half of the body, which she is fond of doing. I would recoil too, if someone that I did not know or was meeting for the first time, approached me like that! And I speculate that the approach by MM had nothing to do with her being "American" or a hugger, but either willful or unconscious rejection of the manners expected when meeting someone for the first time.
It is not an American thing to automatically hug. As an American who has lived in the US in different states, I find that the majority of Americans want others to be comfortable in their first meeting. That is my approach.
@@Alberto-wu1mj I would hope that the lunge hug was not an "American" thing. I apologise to all Americans. It was just that this was the excuse used by Harry, and Meghan to some extent, to explain her inability to integrate into the RF and British society.
