Fry also endorces fantasies. The Evolution theory is also a fantasy, and not a very good one as it is ironically as racist and illogical as Trump is. We need a more sophisticated solution. For if the only options we have are men like Trump, Musk and Fry, we are in BIG trouble.

I bought my first PC in 2011, when I stopped using the tv set, and I was stunned by the richness of information and culture in the English speaking world. Until then, it was some period drama as The Palissers, the 70s Jane Eyre or the Thames Theatre’s Shakespeare’s plays. Maybe some 5 minutes segments of the BBC’s documentaries (probably stolen) on a 30 minutes programme called Teleencyclopaidia.
After getting interested in the American politics in 2016, I couldn’t understand how ordinary people like me would elect someone like trump and the white Christian nationalists. The walk to progress seems to stumble sometimes 😅

Look at the way things have changed since Trump has entered the stage. I see and hear it in Australia. Any politician , especially male, who displays kindness or empathy is virtually torn to shreds on social media.
