Everything El Estepario touches is gold! His Slipknot handpan version is stellar. And his drum covers (and one handed ones) are just next level mind blowing!!
I like the way you didn't interrupt the music, but gave your reaction at the same time. It added instead of taking away. Very nice.
El Estepario is a savant with percussion. It's like he can feel it in his soul and just provides an outlet for the music.
As I say that, he has also put in the work to develop his reality into something amazing. Without the hard work he has done this would not be possible. He is the proof that hard work pays off. And with his talent that work put him on a level above most.
He took a hard rock song and exposed a beautiful haunting melody behind all the noise. The addition of the base drum in parts took it to a whole different dimension. So tasty and chill.
From start to finish, it was like imaginative musical adventure! It was just a matter of closing your eyes and starting to travel with the notes, like a fairytale musical story, very beautifully executed, phenomenally well!
When it comes to drumming, yes, he is not a professional.
He is in a league of its own.
Looking down in a polite and kind way without any arrogance.
He is simply "The Groovefather".
And i believe he wont agree with my words cause they lift him too far up in comparison to all the others...

El Estepario is an incredible musician mainly known for his trap drumming. He is honing in on neally 3 million subs on his personal channel. He is both extremely confident and extremely humble. It's a nice mix. I think what he meant by not being a professional is he has decided to start playing the pan drum but it is a new instrument to him. His dedication and perfectionism wouldn't allow him to release something he didn't feel good about. Unless he is going to make some kind of a point. His drumming has turned my brain inside out but this is my first contact with his pan drumming and it truly was a gift. Thanks for this reaction.

He has a video doing "RUNNING UP THAT HILL" cover on the handpan. At the end he explains what he means by not being a professional. He is exploring it without actually learning it. He has no idea if his technique is correct etc but wants to explore and have fun with it, playing by ear.
At some point, he might find it interesting look at how it is typically played and compare. There might be some thing he can pick up. Although, I suspect there are a lot of things traditional players might pick up from him! I can't imagine it being played any better.

He may not be a professional handpan player, but boy is he an out-of-this-world drummer.
He is one of THE best drummers in the world and as you are danish give a look to his cover of Safri duo song he is absolutely fantastic (impossible song). stay safe
Thank you for letting song play, notes at the bottom and responding at the end. Most reactors to him have to stop 10 times during song to give their opinion, put him in 20% of screen and of what he does which ruins our FLOW!!! You realize it is about the artist not the reactor which a lot of people do not seem to understand. You are doing it right so keep it up Sabina your review was great!!

He is a pro drummer that got himself a hand pan. And plays it for fun. But, of course, the guy is totally skilled. So, the result is outstanding. BTW, he is REALLY skilled on drums. Top tier. Out of this world.

Blimey, the hand pan looks like a BBQ😂😂. Reminds me of a Caribbean steel drum in the manner of its playing..minus the sticks. Okay, aesthetics aside, what about the sound? It’s absolutely unique and allows the player to combine percussion and lead instruments which in turn produces an all in one sound. I’m amazed by this instrument. Wouldn’t it be something if a major band set aside a slot for this magnificent piece of kit to shine? I’m blown away. Sabina…your face said it all…WTF & wow…loved it.

Keep in mind the original song is pretty hard rock, and certainly there wasn't a hand pan part written for it. To have it come out as a piece you could mellow out to is even more amazing. My brain exploded at the part where he played melody and harmony instead of melody and rhythm.

If you want healing for your soul, i recommend Wadruna feat. Aurora with "Helvegen". Its an old style song played with instruments from the old times. It gives me goosebumps everytime, old rythms that still can ring my insides. Awesome Performance too this day.

He also has a rant about talent vs skill, he doesn't believe in talent, just practice.
