We did make a straight wind deflector in our early designs of prototyping and testing and we came to the conclusion that it created too much wind noise although it looked good. We decided in our design that we would rather give a customer a functional focused product over something that just looked good. Reach out to info@trailrax.com if you have anymore questions!
Our proprietary bottom bracket for the Pak Rax does not interfere with the geometry of the hardtop at all. So no there was no additional wind noise, in fact significantly less wind noise. Hope this answers your questions. If you have anymore questions feel free to leave another comment or message us at info@trailrax.com
Do the crossbars have a t slot for Thule, Yakima accessories? Does the light bar attach to the bronco or the rack? Would like to take rack off for hardtop removal but leave light bar on.
The Cross bars do have T slots on all faces! The light bar attaches directly to the roof rack so you will need to relocate your light bar when the rack comes off.
I am taking delivery of mine next week and am ready to buy a rack & lights today. I guess these aren’t available judging by the lack of response to your question. On to the next option!
They are mounted directly to the rack as well as the body of the vehicle giving the rack a better load rating and stability off-road. The Pak Rax is a patented and proprietary design by TrailRax.
We are starting to ship today, July 25th. Customers should be receiving theirs shortly. We have a ton of preorders to get through so it may take a week or two for us to catch up and get to more current orders.
We cannot confirm but based on the dimensions of the Thule accessory and the width of our rack, it is absolutely doable, it then comes down to how wide the mounts need to be adjusted for your kayaks are. Hope this helps!
Our light bar cut out wind deflector actually moves the light bar back enough to have little to no hood glare. But if your main concern is to not have any hood glare, do not buy a light bar for the windshield.
Visit TrailRax.com for more information on our TRMR Rack. Both 2 door and 4 door have a 850 lb static (evenly distributed across the rack) and 250 lb dynamic (evenly distributed across the rack).
The rating comes down to Ford's recommended rating on their roof since all the weight of the rack is still on the hardtop. Our roof rack itself can handle the rating we give it but it is at the customer's discretion if they want to overload past Ford's recommendation.
@@trailrax So Ford's Recommendation is due to the roof itself and not the fiberglass crossbars? If so, what would be the reason to upgrade the OEM roofrack?
@@bobbyhewitson2082 Exactly. The rating comes down to the structure of the hardtop vs the OEM/aftermarket rack. The main reason to upgrade to ours is for more customization and modularity as well as a load rating increase because the Pak Rax serve as a load bearing system that transfers weight to the body of the vehicle and puts less stress on the hardtop.
The rack looks great and works well, but you guys have to get more competitive on price. You've bought off every TH-cam overland influencer with a free rack, and then are passing the cost off on your real consumer base.
Hey! Thank you for your comment and thank you for your interest in our products! We are proud to say that our Rack is actually one of the lower priced racks on the market. Our rack starting at $1449.99 (4 Door Rack) / $1199.99 (2 Door Rack) sits actually in the lower 1/3 of major brands on the market making roof racks for the Ford Bronco. (Comparing 4 Door Racks) Currently starting costs sit as low as $1209.99 and as high as a $2499.99. While yes we offer an optional add on of our Pak Rax, at a price of $500 additional on top of the cost of the Bronco TRMR Rack, it would be unfair to factor in an accessory to your cost analysis vs other options on the market. We feel like we have definitely accomplished this competitive price. While you may think we have "bought off" every youtuber, they understand they need the best product for their content creation and we offer exactly that. We work closely with influencers and content creators but by no means just "bought off" every youtuber. We would love to talk to you more on this and go into detail if you would like, feel free to give us a call or email.
I have nothing to contribute regarding the product, I just wanted to say that this narrator's voice is incredible.
Just got my 2-door Wildtrak hardtop. (Ordered 2 years ago) I’ve been rack shopping… I like what I’m seeing here.
YES!!!! Two Door Love 🙌🏻🇺🇸. Cannot wait.
We cannot wait to see them in the wild!
Looks sweet! My Bronco is on the train due to arrive in 1 week! Will definitely be looking into this rack!
awesome!!
Great voiceover
Looks beautiful!
I wonder how the four door would look like but this is perfect for overland
You can see pictures of the 4 door on our site! TrailRax.com
I have one on order, can’t wait!
I really want to buy this rack but I'm not a fan of the curved wind deflector in the front. PLEASE make a straight one!

What’s the dimensions of the rack?
Blows my mind that information isn’t on your website
After putting the roof rack on did you have any wind noise because you had to take your top off to install the side gas tanks

Will it also work on a soft top
Can you take all roof panels off including the back without having to remove the rack?
You can take the front 2 and the middle panel off with the Rack on. You cannot run the rack with the rear most, main portion of the hardtop.
How high (in inches) does the rack sit above the top of the roof? I need to know if I can still get my bronco sas into my garage.
If you head on over to our website and go to the product description, you will find all the information you need on the TRMR Rack!
Could the light bar come in Amber?
Great question! You can purchase a Heretic 40" bar in Amber directly from Heretic's website. We only stock the combo clear lens.
@@trailrax nice! Thank you
What wheels are these?
Those wheels are from Fifteen 52
@@trailrax Thanks!
can you use the rack with the roof off entirely?
No you cannot.
Mounting kit for Awning (Smittybilt 2787 or Yakima) available or in the horizon? Ty
We have awning mounts coming soon for the Bronco TRMR Rack. Sign up for our email list to be the first to know.
Sooo dope! When will the 2D with light cutout be available?
I am taking delivery of mine next week and am ready to buy a rack & lights today. I guess these aren’t available judging by the lack of response to your question. On to the next option!
Crazy idea...but maybe go to their website?
How does the side racks mount
They are mounted directly to the rack as well as the body of the vehicle giving the rack a better load rating and stability off-road. The Pak Rax is a patented and proprietary design by TrailRax.
@@trailrax is there a video showing it being mounted
@@kevinraabe8643 No. An install video will be posted once the pre-orders start shipping. No drilling is required if that is your concern.
🔥😍🔥
Is that possible for a bronco 4 door outer banks with soft top?
No it would not be possible. This rack is just for Bronco's with a hardtop. Check our website, TrailRax.com, for more details.
Damn!
Has anyone received theirs yet? I know they were saying presales would start to be shipped out end of July beginning of August

Can this be delivered outside the US?
Curious also
If someone can confirm it will mount two Thule Hullavators. I’m buying.
We cannot confirm but based on the dimensions of the Thule accessory and the width of our rack, it is absolutely doable, it then comes down to how wide the mounts need to be adjusted for your kayaks are. Hope this helps!
Anyone have clue how much taller this will add to bronco?
visit our website and in the description of the product, there are exact dimensions! TrailRax.com
Ditch the rack lightbar.unless you like hood glare.
Our light bar cut out wind deflector actually moves the light bar back enough to have little to no hood glare. But if your main concern is to not have any hood glare, do not buy a light bar for the windshield.

Great product but ditch that narrator. He's so over the top, it almost sounds like a joke. Oy!
