I'm Iñaki, Unliftable's creator. Many thanks for your review, you're so kind. Unliftable was created and patented for me on 2018, thinking paradox made a great tutorial. Tenyo made its 2020 release based on my invention (as they mentioned on the packaging). With the help of Javier Franco I have decided to make this new portable version that I manufacturate personally one by one. Thanks for the support. Here I am ready for any questions.
I love Scott’s reviews but haven’t watched this as been on holiday. I have this from Blackpool and it’s unreliable imo, I bought online some of the material myself and made a better one. I used the flat bike boxes you buy online and construct yourself as they are more shiny and it makes it work better. Simply put it makes the acetate always separate from the box and it would rather cling for dear life to the table Gaz 😊
Thank you for the review- I had already ordered this but glad to hear that it’s what I expect it to be. I love the light heavy illusion as for the participant it adds an different level of experience than just „watching“ magic. You made some very good points on presenting this type of effect in order to do its potential justice. Well done 👍🏻
just ordered from my go to merchant monster magic only half way thru your review, you sold it, right back to the rest of the your review, keep up the good work, and put the CP caper to the back of your mind.
So here is my advice to you. I am glad you are back to the reviews. I have been in magic for 25 years. From all the online reviews you are the one I like the most because you truly give an honest review with no agenda. The Craig BS well thats the kind of person he is. He has a history among the community so we are not surprised of what he has done to you and others. My advice is to ignore him. He is not worth any fight. Focus on your work
Dear colleague. I don't agree regarding a puzzle trick. I can assure you that I have fooled expert magicians using Unliftable. Presentation is the most important thing, if you present it as a puzzle it will be a puzzle, if you present it as magic it will be a miracle, believe me. It has been seven years performing UNLIFTABLE.
Just got this and I love it. Some will claim it's rather limited in it's use but I don't agree. There are a few different ways you can present this. I just do a short, comedy, pseudo-hypnosis thing then challenge them to pick up the deck. It is fun to perform! Nice review. I would love to see you review "On the Rise" by C. Wallace...cheers!
Totally agree with you. There are lots of possibilities. As with a lot of tricks, it depends how much thought and effort people give it. Glad you love it as much as I do. 😃
Hi my Friends, I'm Iñaki... I would like to recommend to see the presentation ideas in the tutorial... Could be Inspiring. Sorry for my poor English. Thanks for the support
Penguin just sent me an email about this today. Looked good, so I was thinking about getting it, and found your review. Nice one. Thank you. Any suggestions on what I can use (take along) as a smooth surface, in case the table won't work? Also, will the portable smooth surface lift up with the deck (stick to it)?
Realistically you need to perform it on a fixed table. Even if you have a piece of Perspex the size of a close-up pad, the spectator will likely lift it with the box. However, to answer your question - a piece of acetate should work providing it’s on a flat surface.
@@EverythingMagicPro99 Okay. Thank you. Still, for $30 and no electromagnets, or anything? Still worth it. Besides, no one said you have to do it every time you take your cards out.
I really am interested in this but im worried thst the surfaces i could perform on ie at my work etc wouldn't work the tsbles there are not wood but thet funny plastic wood looking would it work still
Yes, it seems a lot of people are performing it as an obnoxious prank but that’s the performers fault, not the product. Performed well, it can get fantastic reactions.
I didn’t see anything about that so I went back to watch the tutorial and I had NO IDEA there’s loads more information below when scrolling down 🤦♂️ Thank you for commenting. I never would have known this.
@@EverythingMagicPro99 That's not entirely accurate, with thinking paradox we explained my method and how to adapt it, nothing is sold physically because it was difficult to manufacture for many people. Thank you for your time and support. Good job!
Hi and thanks for the review on this...... Please allow me to tell you a little about myself, I'm a 70 yo senior who has dexterity issues and poor hand coordination. I'm unable to do hand slights (even the simple ones) therefore I enjoy effects (tricks) that are done with "gaff" cards. I don't really like full deck tricks as I like showing off in karaoke bars (between songs) and most dont want to see or be bothered with tricks that are long and drawn out. Therefore I prefer several that are played out quickly and also very visual. The main problem with those are many spectators want to examine the cards, therefore you need to be able to quickly go to to another one to distract them from the one they just saw and typically after 3-5 tricks, their brain is fried and I end clean. In the event someone DOES want to see something longer...... I will bring out the trick called "Predixion" by the late Max Maven which uses two decks..... at the beginning I like to start with the main deck taking the cards out of the box then doing a quick false cut followed by a quick false shuffle (both very basic and simple). Now whats I like about this trick..... "Unliftable" is that it can also hold a deck of cards. I feel this should have been mentioned in your review as this is important. I wont use it as most will but rather to draw attention to it being Unliftable just prior to to removing the cards and then quickly doing the false cut and shuffle. With the spectator still thinking about the Unliftable box, they aren't paying as close attention to the shuffle and cut and then..... all the dirty work is DONE..... I've always admired Max Maven for several of his tricks as well as his persona and style of presentation and "Predixion" is just one of those tricks and the one which will hold the cards for that trick; (I also like "B-Wave" by Max Maven which is a powerful quick trick using gaff cards) GREAT STUFF....... I've ordered my "Unliftable" , not yet received it but like yourself..... I plan to buy more. I stumbled upon your review and mainly was wanting to see a close up of the box to get a sneak preview of it and see if I will be able to use it...... and I'm pretty sure I will. Sorry for this being so long, I kinda got off track and for that.... I'm sorry Thanks for your review.
I hope you enjoy Unliftable as much as I’ve been enjoying it. The only issue with it is that the surface needs to be very flat and clean otherwise it doesn’t become heavy. Meaning there aren’t too many places or occasions to use it but it hides in plane sight until then. Long or short, I always try to read comments and serve the magic community the best I can.
Many thanks for your support, here Iñaki, unlifatble's creator. In the karaokes I think you don't have problem to find appropriated surfaces. Right now I'm thinking on use unliftable with an "invisible deck effect", for example... What do you think?
Test it on as many surfaces as you can before performing it. You need to get used to how the gimmick interacts. Just make sure the tab is out along the bottom of the box.
Wait......so the spectator CAN lift it, but only when you want them to? So you can show that the spectator CAN lift it, "take their powers away" and then with the exact same movement from the SPECTATOR, they can't lift it anymore???? If that's the case, I'm not only buying one, I'm buying at least four of them 😱 can someone confirm if this is true haha
Yes, that’s the effect. It’s not YOU the performer who does it, it’s the spectator who experiences the light/heavy box. Classic effect originating (albeit a different method) from the 1800’s I believe.
Is it impromptu? Or is set up needed with the table? Could an over zealous spectator break….never mind you answered that. Non porous? So certain wood tables or cloth covered tables won’t work? Thanks for reviewing this, you seem to review a lot that I’m interested in. Smilesotheylikeyou
Yes it’s impromptu as long as you have the box. It could break if someone smashes/squeezes the box too hard just like a normal tuck box. Yes, certain wood tables won’t work and definitely no cloth. Must be a flat, non-porous surface. Imagine a small plastic suction cup. This will work with whatever that sticks to.
I love Scott’s reviews but haven’t watched this as been on holiday. I have this from Blackpool and it’s unreliable imo, I bought online some of the material myself and made a better one. No, not 100%. It’s possible to lift it if someone pulls like a brute. That’s why I included a performance recommendation. It is 100% difficult to lift for everyone but as I say, there is a possibility for someone to break the “magic”.
It will be very situational for outdoor walk around. It’s quite situational anyway but depending where you perform, there might be suitable tables outside. It’s affordable and something to keep cards in, so you’re not losing anything by having it. As the saying goes, “it’s better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

Yea, this looks pretty cool...I just ordered Twister Flavor 2.0...
Thanks for the review! So just to be clear you can keep your cards in the box at all times and it won't interfere with the effect?
Yes, you can use it as you would a regular card box. It’s also possible to perform the effect with the cards inside the box OR with the empty box.
@@EverythingMagicPro99 OK great! Thanks for the reply I appreciate it.
@EverythingMagicPro99 Anyway, I always recommend to use with the cards inside, It improves a lot the performance.
Great review , Any ideas of a good card trick running along the same lines of hypnosis that could be followed up ?
I don’t perform much in terms of hypnosis or mentalism. If anything comes to mind I’ll share it in a TH-cam Shorts and reference your question in it.
I really am interested in this but im worried thst the surfaces i could perform on ie at my work etc wouldn't work the tsbles there are not wood but thet funny plastic wood looking would it work still
Grab a little plastic suction cup. The kind you hang little souvenirs or signs up with. Use that to test surfaces before buying the effect.
Hey brother how durable is the box? I have to change mine every few gigs as they get quite beat up!
The box is reinforced and quite durable but the gimmick can be transferred to a new box.
I will definitely e getting one.
Can you still have a 52 card deck inside box?
Yes. All boxes are hand made, so they’ll differ slightly but mine fits 54 cards.
Does it feel like a deck of cards?
Yes, because it is just a deck of cards. Only the bottom side doesn’t as it has a slight plastic feel but overall it’s a fairly normal box.
@@EverythingMagicPro99 thanks man
If the box is unliftable, how does the delivery person get it to you?
Fills the package with helium.
Just curious can you use a card clip with it?
No for most clips. My Joe Porper classic would definitely damage the gimmick.
It might fit in some but I would say generally no to most clips.
I don't understand the appeal. Seems like an obnoxious prank. That said, you are a very fine reviewer of magic and I always enjoy your channel.
Yes, it seems a lot of people are performing it as an obnoxious prank but that’s the performers fault, not the product.

So it's basically a suction cup? Got it.
In principle but in reality it’s absolutely nothing like it.
You just miss one thing, out, you can remove the gimmick and put it onto another card box😊

You're totally right, UNLIFTABLE is portable now. Regards, Iñaki, Unliftable's creator
So the box itself is gimmicked? It's not a tool you can take out and use to turn other objects into light/heavy props?
Yes, the box is gimmicked. Thinking Paradox has a light/heavy gimmick you can attach to any object.
It was created with Iñaki.
