The aeropress has been the biggest game changer for my coffee game. Moving to it from a French press made me realise how much variation in taste you can have with brewing. I then realised needed a grinder instead of pre ground and also better types of coffee to get the best brew.
I've been using an Aeropress for years and have turned several people on to it. In my opinion, the best cup of coffee you can make! Always use fresh quality coffee and water and you are in for a treat. Also easily portable for travel and backpacking. Im sure Aeropress will see a sales increase now that you have featured it. Love the channel.
Aeropress is my go to when I want a single, nice cup of coffee. Also, it travels easily with me to work / vacation etc so I know that, at the very least, I can make myself a good coffee when I am traveling
Greg Dodgen I love that he didn’t chastise them for “ruining” the shot. Some folks freak out about being interrupted and Bridges just keeps on like a good dude does
I've been an Aeropress user for a few years now and love it! I just bought an Aeropress Go to take to work . Looks like I need to order some Good Dudes Coffee too.
@@sattvi Aeropresses are very durable. Both of mine have held up extremely well over daily usage. The only thing I've ever replaced is the plunger. It was a quick swap and very cheap.
I think you're the only person who is in the same level of coffee snob as me!! I make my cup of coffee with an aeropress every morning! I'll definitely be trying your coffee soon!
Juries still out on if the upside down process actually does anything. So there's only one solution, try them both and see which you prefer. The only thing I think Josh needs to change was his grind. He used coarse and Aeropress themselves suggest a fine grind, not to fine though otherwise you'll be able to stand on the thing and not have it move. Also, stop pressing down just as it starts to hiss.
Man. That seal back at it with his fancy coffee. Lol I am going to look up that company though and what type of coffee drinker doesn’t drink dark coffee. That’s how I know you were in the Navy
Coffee beginner here. Say I wanted to fill a thermos in the morning to last throughout the day. like 40 oz or so. What would be the quickest/easiest/best method? I want to try the Good Dudes.
This is the first time i've seen someone brew with 30:150g on an aeropress and then add extra water. I've been doing 14:200g and it's been coming out perf on extraction with 1min extraction time and 30 sec pressdown time. u'll use less coffee and get the guud taste u want. I'll encourage u to try it
Same, then I found out this is basically Turkish coffee. Get some Turkish coffee seasoning or throw a couple cardamom pods in your grinder for a totally different flavor kick. That said, a well done French press brew or espresso can't be beat, imo.
@@stephenr85 Of course. I enjoy all kinds of coffees but honestly living that city life of ''go go go'' is not leaving me enough room to double on on my barista game hahaha

oh wow! Thanks mr. Good dude I'm on it! here we go I'm ordering Good Dudes!:) I am obsessed with coffee is like water to me I drink really dark roast black! Josh can you please come up with your own meal replacement protein! like God dudes protein meal replacement!:) if you do that then I should get s good discount! Lol but seriously think about it!:)
Only part I cringed at was when he stirred with the spoon at the end that he used to stir during extraction. You might have grounds in our cup if you do that. Otherwise this is a great dosage!
Very similar to the 2016 WAC winning recipe...he used a bit cooler water, a bit less stirring (what gives a bit less of an extraction...) and a bit less of bypass water aeroprecipe.com/recipes/2016-wac-1st-place

Good stuff that your kids photo-bombed during the video. Love it. Great content. Keep it coming.

I have never heard of an aero press! I will have to check it out and your coffee!! thank you!
I favorite are the boys trying not to disturb you! lol
You should make a Good Dude’s starter kit. Good dudes kettle, mug, little scale, pour over or aero press.
Roosevelt and Lincoln, I love em both

Class , aero press the only way for tactical coffee in the field
Tactical coffee. Lol. YP turned me on to it several years back.

Agung Raden 200g of coffee is about half a cup. Not enough
Josh , Barista‘ Bridges!!!
Best part was the boys in the background sneaking around and then the dog doing the same.
I pour some coffee in the cup then top it with hot water. That's it..Boom, Golden. Don't be mad Josh :D

Such a coffee nerd! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Add one teaspoon of instant coffee into mug, then add hot water. Boom ‘coffee’
That is as far away from being coffee as is possible.
What scale is that?
Sold about to order some Roosevelt lol
Anyone the know the brand of the digital scale Josh used? I see Mat Fraser use the same one. Thanks!
11Elevon it’s the Acaia Lunar scale :)
Siddhant Madan the price damn :/
11Elevon lmao yea. Sell a kidney or two and buy it maybe
35g coffee
150g 185° - 190° water
*magic happens*
120g - 130g additional water
Do they sell these locally in San Diego so I don’t have to wait 😂😂
I recommend watching Alan Addlers video, the creator of aeropress
You wouldn't dump either cup down the drain.
Brother that coffee looks good. You know what that means? Give away just like the coffee be a good dude lol. Liked video as usual 👍🏽
Do you guys sell espresso beans?

Can any coffee nerds please give me a good recommendation for a bean similar to bulletproof beans? Good dudes or otherwise??
6 latte drinkers have watched so far.
Won't the mug just break from all that pushing?
Nope.
#payhim #goodcoffee😎👍
Much easier to just make an espresso
35g in a aero press? Isn’t that a lot?
