I have these placemats in silver! Got them from Walmart on line! Had to search long and hard! Saw them on TH-cam used on kitchen back splash! Love the shade and lamp!

I saw this video a couple of months ago and I was ready to throw away my lamp shades and then I came across this video. Thank you! Ever since I've been on the hunt for the plate mats and drum sound please, I found them yesterday and I do not need to paint because they are the exact color I need. Found then at "Lots for Less" in the city (I live in NY) and I pay $1.99 for each. I can't wait to try this. Thanks you so much for sharing your talent. GBY

I have those same placemats, I bought them from Walmart for $1.50 each in silver. They come in silver, gold, and rose gold. Since my living room and kitchen butt against each other, I think I'll match my lamp to my table decor. Thanks for this DIY!
