    Awesome video. I'm mid-60's and have a rising PSA. If it continues to go up, my urologist suggested a MRI, and I think I'll look for transperineal biopsy if needed. Very helpful!

    useful information well presented.
    I have a question regarding what a patient should do if he has a prostate MRI and it is clear - no cancer indicated ....yet because of 7 psa value of 290# patient the doctor still wants to do a transrectal biopsy using ultrasound probe without the advantage of the MRI fusion indicating areas of interest.

    I am going to be getting a biopsy soon. I am going to ask for a xanax before they numb up the area. Hopefully it will calm my nerves.
