Can the patient demand general anesthesia for the biopsy procedure?
Update: Last month, I went through a MRI fusion prostate biopsy, and general anesthesia was used.

What type of biopsy was it? How was the pain?

I just had the transrectal procedure. I felt some pressure but no pain. The transperineal procedure concerned me.
